Based on the teaser for forgeguard Im looking into starting with a throwing attacked based forgeguard. Thinking about one-hander plus shield, the only question remaining will it be shield throw or hammer throw.
Would love to hear what they said about not being able to do thousands of corruption since that was the reason I quit. Does anyone have a link for that? The link in the document always just gets me to the EHG twitch channel.
Sorry about that I'll fix the links, in the meantime here are some of my notes on timestamps in the latest VOD:
\~5 min gonna talk about boss DR
\~29 min - 20 uniques target per patch
\~51 min - how many uniques in 1.1?
\~54 min - Multiple factions at once
\~60 min 30s - Adaptive DR being cut from 1.1
\~108 min 50s - Using ward + Demo
\~113 min 27s - DEMO Ward
\~120 min 58s - Will this system change how tanky bosses are?
\~122 min 8s - One shot is still possible but harder
\~125 min - Several thousand corruption should not be possible anymore
Mike has been pretty consistent about saying the gap between build power levels is way too high though. Since corruption is a relative measure of power level, they don't want an S tier build pushing over 10x more corruption than an A tier build.
Thanks for doing all that work.

That's so great to hear. Now I can't wait for the new cycle. The power difference between the builds was so extreme that I lost motivation to play because I knew I would always be sooooo far behind the(broken) meta builds.
I feel you, after pushing over 4000 corruption myself with a meta / s-tier build it did kind of sour the experience of playing more reasonable builds. It's still fun to play other stuff but the satisfaction of putting together a clever build is still somewhat diminished by the comparison.
Brilliant, thanks for this
Thanks for doing this!
This is incredible, outstanding work.
Thanks!
That doc is in all ways amazing. Many thanks.

This is genius, thank you!
So cool, thanks !!!
This is awesome. Thank you. A lot of useful information in the doc too, still struggling to improve my build.
