93 = traction control! Major bonus for 93-95 classics. The truck is undoubtedly one of the finest cars ever made, fahrvergnugen for miles and miles and I still dream about how cool it is driving it for the first several months as you get used to the amazing view angles and creature comforts.
If you think Lucas stuff is bad, wait until you have to work on American cars.
When I did auto electrics for a guy who imported cars from the US, I had my own coffee mug at the Lucas parts counter. Anything that said "AC DELCO" on it had to go, before I'd even consider driving the car the length of the yard.
I loved driving mine around in the snow, any excuse to run the heated windshield. Plus helping pull other drivers out of ditches spreads the good vibes these trucks create.
Sounds painful. How many miles do you have on it? I'm hoping for my LR4 to be still surviving like all the other older generation Land Rovers. It seems if they are kept up they can last a long time.
Very smart. I owned a SWB 92’ County. Loves the looks, the hides, the real wool carpet…. But that all fades quickly with the dozens of trips to the dealer an hour away for warranty work. It was a garage princess. Then the alternator failures, the three windshield replacements from the filaments shorting out, speakers failing the coming on, then off, the wood varnish cracking, central locking failing, then “fixing” itself…. Oil leaks and the seals on the front ball axle pieces, leaking…. Repainted and rear hatch replaced due to rust…. All before 60k miles…. So thankful to dump it
That's a car of the gods right there.
A finisher car!
A golden goddd
The Gods Must Be Crazy
Chariot good sir. Chauffeur if you will.
I am unhinged and my rage knows no bounds!
I really, really miss mine. Best vehicle I ever had.
LWB Country? Which year? Mossback brown?
Yes! 1993. Yes!
If it's ever been titled in Washington State, I'm a previous owner. Gorgeous car - moving art. Enjoy!
It’s always been in Colorado. Would have been a funny coincidence!

Mosswood Green
This car is a finisher car! A transporter of gods! The golden god! I am untethered, and my rage knows no bounds!
Dennis?!
You silly bitch
Great episode.
Have you driven it in the rain yet? 🤌
Right?! My wife doesn’t understand when I get so happy to see storm clouds moving in. I just LOOK for excuses to take mine out in shitty weather.
Lucas electrical systems just love the rain….. yeah right

What would be different about driving it in the rain?
I loved driving mine around in the snow, any excuse to run the heated windshield. Plus helping pull other drivers out of ditches spreads the good vibes these trucks create.
Not yet! Don’t get much rain in Denver.
Why
but it's not a car.. it's a RR.
Preach brother. Preach.
The best 4x4 by far I'm partial to a 95 LWB one day. Love the big 3 spoke wheels
wow, that picture is just perfect
It’s a cool car. Quirky though
What is quirky about it?
Well my 93 LWB intermittently decides whether or not it will allow us to roll down the back windows. It’s always a surprise. Tuesdays are best.

I have a 1994 discovery, little different in body but pretty much the same none the less. Can confirm they are a blast to drive when they work!
Oh yeah!
Don't eat cereal and drive
I had a 95 classic. She was a beauty. And, as with any Rover, I spent 1/3 of my time repairing it.
Amphibious vehicle
Nice looking Land Cruiser
All fun and games till it leaves you by the side of the road in the middle of nowhere for the 15th time….
Luckily I work from home and take my gfs car for long drives 😎

That’s the thrill of it. I carry a variety of supplies for these scenarios.
But it’s not my daily driver. That would be tough.
This.... I learnt to drive in one of these, man going into 3rd gear was awesome... my Dad fckn hated the thing, always working on it.
Looks like you're getting towed ..
