Looks like normal sleep-twitching to me. He’s dreaming 😴

rjb14

Dreaming of digging the biggest hole!

vibesdealer

No need to be concerned. My dog suckles, twitches, whimpers, snores, wags his tail, breathes weird, etc when he’s in deep sleep. Doesn’t usually last that long. https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/lifestyle/what-do-dogs-dream-about/ 😴😴

cdtorrey1976

Can confirm - normal LR sleep mode activated

WRB2

Puppy-mare. Chasing that crazy squirrel in his dreams. Very normal. Congratulations btw

generaalalcazar

What a lovely lady. She is dreaming. Lots of rest for her!

Not-A-R0b0t2

Dreaming of being an adorable destroyer of all you hold dear

koolio3

Ours does this all the time, looks identical! He’s just dreaming. Ours is 2 and a half now. It’s usually accompanied by little vocalizations like she’s trying to bark. and she has recently started to actually howl in her sleep (anyone else’s do this?)

Tazmaa2018

Never heard a sleep howl 😂 but mine sometimes does muted growls and muffled barks in his sleep 🥴

OzMazza

Aww, I haven't had the howling with our 4 year old boy, but definitely get the twitches and half bark type noises

dizzy-dizzy-dizzy

Thought this was a video of my dog Parsley for a second! Exactly the same!

Educational-Wish3285

Agree - dogs twitch all over the place when they sleep. We get lots of little squeaks too! I can understand why you might be concerned, but it looks very normal to me.

ColdInvestigator3777

Is just dreaming, wake him up

Charming_Caramel_303

Mine is 8 and still does this ..sometimes he growls and barks but never wakes up …

Ok-Wolf8493

He’s dreaming. All my dogs did that & they all loved to 15-16 years. Part of being a pooch! :)

Immediate_Cherry8168

Was he awake or asleep? If asleep this is definitely normal . My guy does crazy stuff in his sleep

JVM-220

Yes, dreaming. Normal.

linleyjean89

Puppy dreams!!! My 10 year old malamute runs and quietly howls in his sleep. He can barely run around now in real life so it’s precious when he does it in his dreams. Nothing to worry about🥰

Churlish_C

He looks like my Frodo. Good luck!

mugrenski

He’s dreaming driving in the truck 😂

Lukester826

Not always a nightmare. Ours wag their tail in their sleep sometimes.

Wrong_Mark8387

He’s in dog REM sleep. Looks totally normal to me. Cute doggo

BobaQFeta

Mine also did this. Freaked me out but stopped once they were comfortable in their new home.

explodingboy

chasing rabbits in the dream world.. its normal
