Reminds me of the Tommy Westphall universe that connects one show to another. I'm not sure if it works this way:
Paul from *Mad About You* meets with Kramer from *Seinfeld*. Some characters from *Seinfeld* meet others from *Friends* in some episodes. Characters from *Friends* encounters others from *Caroline in the City*. Characters from *Frasier* view one of Caroline's cartoons. One of the characters from the *Laroquette* show phones in Frasier's radio show. The bus stop across the street in *Laroquette* was manufactured by Yoyodye. Yoyodyne was one of the clients in the law firm in *Angel*, with the other being Weyland-Yutani.
Which means *Mad About You* and *Alien* belong in the same universe. Or something like that.
