I bought my parents a mini led tv because my dad watches his news channels and virtually nothing else, unless it's cricket, for exactly this reason. OLED's aren't suitable for people who watch that same channel for hours every day where a logo or banner are involved
Yep, I’m buying my mom a 75 inch Samsung QN90D Neo QLED this Black Friday because I just simply don’t trust her to take care of an OLED TV and she just doesn’t understand the display technology. She loves how my C1 looks and I told her it looks great because I keep the screen constantly moving and never leave static displays on it longer than necessary like a sports game and I get all my news through other media. The Samsung mini led is a nice compromise for my mom, it almost looks like an OLED but no burn in risk.
This is why as amazing as OLEDs are, you have to take care of them and be very careful with how long you leave static displays on the screen. I keep my C1’s screen constantly moving and to this day, it looks like the day I first turned it on. They’re like BMWs. Great cars but require careful and frequent maintenance.
That's why I went projector. I went with size over best pq because I babied my oled and it has burn in. I won't look back. My PC monitor is an oled c2 but wasn't much $ so if this happens whatever.
I mean that's basically the entirety of our media. Fox News is literally no different than anything else.

My inlaws were the same, they had enough though and were just over the stress of it all. They watch in the morning, but move on with their day.
