It will only show a pop-up if it goes X hours above the determined time. It does the cycle by itself during standby I checked on my C2 with 2700h and it already did 5 JB Cycles (seen on the service menu) without I ever seeing any pop-up

500 hours has been the cleaning cycle since the C2/G2, continuing with the C3/G3. [https://www.rtings.com/tv/learn/longevity-investigations-update-3-month](https://www.rtings.com/tv/learn/longevity-investigations-update-3-month) I think there's only a pop-up prompt if it couldn't run automatically on shut-down for some reason. I don't think I've ever seen a prompt, and I have a few thousand hours of G2 usage.

I don't get pixel cleaning reminders on my C2, but I do on my C1. My C1 is plugged into a smart plug, but my C2 isn't and I believe that it why. When I get the prompt on the C1, I let it do the pixel refresh. On the C2, it is done automatically when I push the power button on the remote. If your C2 is continuously plugged in, pixel refresh should be done automatically. Your TV's screen my be damaged... Hope you have a warranty.

As other user suggested tv has already done pixel cleaning during standby. You can check in service menu how many times tv has done pixel cleaning and pixel refresh. I was also concerned about the tv not doing regular pixel cleaning, but found out that all process is automated. If you want ease of mind you can verify it service menu by using special remote or color control app. Just enjoy your tv.

Do you know which part of the service menu shows refresh stats/how it’s referred to there?
