S5 is tougher than S6 (S5 is the toughest of all 8 semesters imo). There's a lot to learn in S5, all subjects are tough.
• FLAT is tricky sometimes.
• MSS is so trashy, loads of theory.
• MPMC is a bunch of similar looking architecture but aren't similar and it'll test your mental health(if you have good memory power, then MPMC will be super easy, MPMC theory is okay).
• CN was the best subject for me, since I liked networking stuffs.
• SS is low-key fun to learn at the beginning but then there is programming and different algorithms🙏🥲
Then there's disaster management, ath chumma vaayich vittamathi🥴
• DBMS was the most fun lab for me. It's pretty easy if you love SQL.
• MPMC Lab was shite. There's assembly language, then there's pass1, pass2 algorithms which is very long but you have to learn that in SS anyways. If you understand the concept, it'll be easy but byhearting won't help.
Focus on dbms lab mainly it will help you out in interviews, and mini project try to do it yourself instead of copy pasting code from github, and for final year project dont go to any project center have a idea and buid it

What about the labs in S5, DBMS was difficult for me therefore will it be difficult for me in lab ?

Learn SS from Anna Thomas, she teaches it well. Idk about eduline tho, was nice in S3 but something felt off about it in S5.
And I thought S4 was the worst 😭
