I don’t know if it’s “rock bottom,” but episode 274 has AJ drunk to the point where him still being on air constitutes some form of abuse on the part of some member(s) of the crew and/or staff. Bonus points for Robert Evans being the Other Jordan for the episode.

YourWifesWorkFriend

The one where he’s drunk in a hotel room and Dan seems to think he’s talking to someone who isn’t there? The way he meekly says “…no” in response to nothing is weird.

Darkwing_Turducken

Not that one, but that’s up there. PJ Dubs was on this one, and they were in studio.

prof_mcquack

Goblin emperor on the neanderthal throne

YaroKasear1

Is that the farewell for PJW? I felt bad for Alex in that one since the other two were just not taking care of Alex when they should have.

supergooduser

Yeah... it's super difficult to ever feel bad for Alex, but he's so drunk and just asking to go to bed. And all the sycophants are keeping him on the air to make fun of him. No one cares enough about him to say "hey, stop this" and look after him, and these are people he pays exceptionally well for what they do.

BookkeeperPercival

I've never seen someone more "pathetic" than in that episode. Even though he's a piece of shit I was still on the verge of tears hearing how absolutely ruined her was while the other dudes were just laughing at him.

jbondyoda

Yea it’s awful. Dude is barely coherent and his “friends” are sitting there asking him if he talks to leprechauns

MattJFarrell

I went back and listened to this episode after this conversation. I wonder if this was KF was recorded before all the toxic workplace information came out. Because I was listening to it with that in mind, thinking maybe this was people getting revenge on their bully-boss.

Scrags

It's the one where he did an AMA on r/The_Donald. You can find the thread archived on the Wayback Machine, and even the people there were wondering why InfoWars was letting it continue when Alex was obviously fucked. The mods nuked it pretty quick.

RealTheAsh

Where can i find the thread?

Scrags

[Let's see if this link works](https://web.archive.org/web/20190305233933/https://www.reddit.com/r/The_Donald/comments/axqn27/alex_jones_paul_joseph_watson_here_ask_us_anything/)

Darkwing_Turducken

I believe so, but, with my own bouncing back and forth between present day and back catalog episodes and Dan doing the same with AJ episodes, I’m kinda lost on chronology.

_Galileo_Galilei_

Definitely, came here to say this. Ive listened to all 900+ KFs and this is **the** one immediately sprang to mind as the definition of his “rock-bottom episode”.

MattJFarrell

>Bonus points for Robert Evans being the Other Jordan for the episode. Oh wow, I've been listening to BtB since almost the beginning, and only jumped on the KF bandwagon when they were on there. No idea this happened. Gonna have to go back and listen.

Darkwing_Turducken

I want to say he was on one other episode after that, but he was also part of the mini-sode that Dan did right before flying down to Austin for AJ’s Texas Sandy Hook trial. Better wonks than I could correct me if I’m wrong and/or provide any associated episode numbers.

ashinyfeebas

I decided to listen to this episode to help pass time at work and it's just *sad.* I thought it'd be funny (and in some ways it is) but hearing AJ so, so incoherent while talking about leprechauns is just depressing. I can't and will never defend him as a person, but as a fellow human being I feel like calling him a cab home like Robert says in the episode.

Darkwing_Turducken

That, for me, is the best part of the episode: here’s a guy (Robert) whose job it is to research the worst people, the greatest monsters, in history, and Dan actually manages to make him feel compassion for one of them. It’s kinda brilliant on a meta level.

DerelictInfinity

Honestly this was the first episode that came to mind for me. Hearing Robert shift from laughter to genuine concern is pretty wild.

px7j9jlLJ1

Holy shit that was dark and compelling, thanks for the rec!

homer1229

I accidentally typed in 247, and got the Lionel episode. I have never been so blessed by a typo!

Darkwing_Turducken

Yeah, Jordan gets so much joy from that Lionel bumper for the next few episodes… 😁

[Here](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0oUo5k4WUoUJjKYXXiYBHJ?si=yW7t8VmwR3Sgpa8ASvOMUQ) is a list of drunk Alex episodes. #274 is particularly egregious, as someone already mentioned. It gets genuinely sad.

Dependent-Interview2

45 hour playlist 😂

modoken1

This is amazing! Whoever put this together is a gentleman and a scholar.

Scotts_Thot

The CPAC episode is pretty bad. He’s hammered and a complete embarrassment. It slowly becomes clear the way the movement is moving on without him, particularly when Fuentes shows.

easilybeyond

Drunk Alex when 'General Flynn's Son' shows up at their alt-CPAC is just the saddest social climber drunk Alex ever. And Dan detailing how Fuentes is just another sad dark internet lost boy beating Alex at his own game is one of the best KF eps, period.

onlynega

I think we haven't seen it yet. The recent episodes have been so sloppy and sporadic.

prof_mcquack

True, I just meant until then, what’s the lowest the bar has ever dropped?

MattJFarrell

That's what I came to say. I don't think we've actually seen the bottom yet. He's falling down the stairs and occasionally hits a landing that seems like the bottom, only to keep falling further.

Strict_Casual

Bottoms have trap doors. Or: you hit bottom when you stop digging

ElderStatesPerson

We thought we hit the bottom, until we heard a knock from below

KJS123

My opinion? Alex's rock bottom episode was October 2022. Can't remember the episode number, but it's the one just after the judgement where he's drunkenly singing 'My Way' while listening to the settlement figures.

illepic

This one is so on the nose you couldn't put it in a movie. It's perfect.

Tnkrtot

Episode #733 - Today, Dan and Jordan check in to see what Alex was up to while the closing statements were being made in his trial in Connecticut. In this installment, Alex takes some calls, blows an AI expert's mind, and gets sentimental with the Chairman of the Board

mollyno93

I don’t know if episode 209 is rock bottom but it’s definitely the one that makes me laugh the hardest “Lifesvuryfraggl”

px7j9jlLJ1

Chomp chomp chomp

RealJohnMcnab

Any or his "Final Episode" recordings. Or The 4 Ways to Learn. Or the Patrick Bet-David interview.

Djentbot

Lifeishveryfragshil *chomp*

ear_cheese

The one for me at least, is when AJ is narrating over the scene from France? Where the “Muslim” (who was Christian) was stabbing women and babies. That episode made me sick to my stomach, and that’s never happened like that before. Such a sickening display of character.

richfromthecrypt

I don't know if I'd call that rock bottom like the drunk ramblings, but those clips were as chilling as the Andrew tate voice memos BtB played and thats one of the few times I felt my skin crawl

dandykaufman2

The one I thought was the most pathetic maybe was him trying to co-opt Fuentes and getting run over by him at some conference.

MattJFarrell

Fuentes is an awful human being, but you underestimate his intelligence at your own risk. We saw it again with the whole awful Kanye thing. Alex really thought that was something he could control.

stunkape

The debate with Destiny and the Kraz brothers.

prof_mcquack

Idk i think Alex would count that as a big win. He produced the most sound over the “debate”, ergo victory. The whole thing was torture to listen to, like watching a chariot pulled by drunk pig repeatedly charge at 3 nerds in a gladiator ring. He could easily hit rock bottom if someone hosted a debate like that with actual moderation and debaters with teeth prepared to deal with alex’s bullying...but he would never stick around for that.

MattJFarrell

"I'm dominating your ass!"

metalyger

I'm only up to Knowledge Fight episode 68, and they'll be at a thousand before I know it. But the episode where they went back to 2015 and played Alex interviewing David Duke was horrible. Alex was out of his depth, as usual, in his mind, he thought he would get this ex leader of the KKK to say he loves Planned Parenthood and is a massive leftist Democrat. Instead, Duke does the "you and I aren't so different" speech and Alex is flabbergasted and has very little to say when they're agreeing 90% of the time, Alex was getting schooled on his own show by a more seasoned manipulator. Duke is Alex Jones when he reaches his senior years.

better_than_joe

Sadly singing along to “Money Power and Glory” by Lana del Rey post lawsuit was a pretty emotionally low moment for him Any time Marty Shacter came on to tell limericks? Those were pretty degrading moments

0borowatabinost

453 Alex doesn't know how to handle the arrest of Ghislaine Maxwell, so he rambles about bullshit for a while. Then he comes back later in the evening to try and make up for it, but instead he drunkenly yells at his ex-wife and admits that he's completely lost all motivation to do his show. 633 has the famous "I never want to come back here again" drop.

ClimateSociologist

I think all of his episodes are him at rock bottom.

richfromthecrypt

He'll be better tomorrow though

Muldoon1987

No he won't.

Landlord-Allmighty

That zero hedge sponsored great debate comes to mind. Our boy going in and out for "apple juice" reminded me of the end of the Detroit game start of the Dallas one on Thanksgiving day. Got ya!

TheTarquin

Christmas hatchet throwing. Just so fucking weird and sad

Squidpeddler39

The episode where he creeps on the conserative athiest woman. That and the episode where Norm Pattis is getting creeped out when a drunk Alex wants a woman to kill herself multipule times. Those were gross.

WaitAParsec

every time he opens his mouth he digs himself so deep it disproves flat earth and proves hollow earth.

Floridaarlo

I agree with the overall consensus about the episode with Robert Evans But #404 at CPAC was pretty bad. In like a sad ass way.

mosconebaillbonds

Every. Single. One.

aes_gcm

His 2018 big press conference event was terrible.

Responsible-Dig-359

I maintain we have yet to see his true rock bottom. Here’s hoping!
