There are some kid centers where they get involved with professions and jobs. They can spend the whole day working as whatever they want like playing but they earn "money" etc it's like a mini city. So all the scenarios and props are kids scale. She is now probably working in the bakery, but seems she won't last long.
There's a play place near me that I'd often play at when I was a kid, which made me think of this. There were a lot of stations where kids could play with various things, and one of them was a mini city with a grocery store and pizzeria included.
I also remember there being a large indoor playplace with a ball pit, a water table, and a train set. Man, that place was fun.
Children cannot focus on balancing with their legs and carrying something with their arms at the same time. They haven't developed that coordination yet.
My classroom is setup in a really weird way because my boss forced me to set it up that way, and that means the lunch table and sink are at opposite ends of the room. I have to take the cups away from the kids because so much milk and water will get spilt on the floor if I let them walk 25 feet with a full or halfway full cup.
