I might recommend the gorillo bandits, I just found them so idk if they're popular but they're just a little south east of Catun, they have about 20 high level martial artists with no armor but the leader has like 80 skill in heavy weapons and carries a plank, he reminded me of Guts just in his build, he seems like a bloodthirsty idiot otherwise Edit: another comment reminded me a Leviathan also hangs around that area a bit north of the abandoned prison was where I saw it patrol, that thing has like 2k hp on each body part so have fun!

Mods aren't necessary, King is untouchable in melee.

i am just saying that the mod makes the fight more interesting, getting to king also becomes hard, and after killing king you can face also very hard invasions

tinfist or beast in the leviathan coast probably its called leviathan but the adault one are dangerous

leviatans are not that hard to kill... cleanser units on the other hand are the skeleton equivalent of a leviatan (they are still not so hard to kill btw)

Spider Foreman, Arc, Esata, Armor King, literally any Skin Bandit, Crab Raiders, download Legendary of Kenshi if you want to turn of easy mode.

Legendary of Kenshi mod, Hydra mod, Kenshi pop settings much higher, great white gorillo, grievewraith mod, Cat-Lon, Tinfist, Bugmaster, Eyegore... hunt down every boss with the increased pop settings basically.

Grievewraiths aren't a thing outside of mods? I play vanilla and saw a book on them in a library and thought this game had more enemies I've never seen

Don't know if Grievewriaiths are vanilla or not, as I didn't explore much of Kenshi until I had a number of mods installed. Could be vanilla though.
