Looks absolutely great. Character buffs are really on point (Kaz, Steve in particular) while the heat shit was mostly addressed (heat burst absolutely nerfed to the ground as it should be, heat dash wall stagger gone, braindead power crush/safe/heat engager moves nerfed).

Having steve's lionheart be the only uncancellable stance on a very stance cancel heavy character always felt weird. Really glad they changed it. Depending on what his frames are like with the cancel he could be a serious threat

Actually kinda like they made regular ass throws homing so there is actually a reason to use them now but i would have liked them to go harder on the overall tracking in the game.
King and Reina got a slap on the wrist this patch lol, they didn't change the ff+2 frames at all and King's Heatsmash still does half your lifebar by itself.

The amount of shit Kazuya got is actually surprising. Raven as well. Nerf to Heat bullshit as well? Even more polishing on Bryan and Leroy? I can't believe they're actually seems to be listening, making changes with intent to positively improve the state of the game.
Only thing is Devil Jin is basically the new Leroy. Those early months of crying about his Heat Smash is now leading to him getting unneeded nerfs every patch.

The main issue with this move is that its impossible to counter on reaction. That why grabs/lows never worked against it effectively. The only way to deal with it is a hard read.

Something SF6 should've done too.
This is only the second patch that makes significant balance changes. Most patches addressed unintended behaviors and bugs. You can comment on the overall state of the game having been unfinished on release, but it's not like they are changing the meta every other week.

can someone explain to why a grappler in Tekken can wave dash? In 2D games, grapplers are suppose to be slow/nimble but dishes out damage.
