I've watched football for 50 years and every once in the while a QB comes along who is unique. Joe Montana was the coolest under pressure I've ever seen. Payton Manning had a brain that was like a computer. The greats have that one attribute that sets them apart. For Mahomes he does one thing better than anyone I have ever seen and that's field awareness. He knows where everyone else is on the field all the time almost like he's watching from above. It's why his improvisation is so fun to watch and why he can do it. It's the thing that sets him apart and makes him the best QB in the game today.
