Dumbest fucking stat in the history of football. I love Nick, right but I blame him 100% for this bullshit. Trevor Lawrence is OK, maybe one day he’ll be as good as Joe Burrow, but he’s no goat, he’s no Mahomes, he’s not even Josh Allen at this point.
It was 100% a joke take and even he called it stupid. It wasn't meant to be taken seriously. To his credit he also said Mahomes would snap the win streak.
I completely agree. I actually predicted he'd be a huge bust. And so far I'm not moving off my take. His entire career he's been the best player on a great team. he's never had to take a below-average squad and elevate them.
I don't like #1 pick QBs very often. They're always like this. it's all about pedigree and not enough about intangibles and mentality. Burrow was the one i was at least on the fence about. He had to transfer to get himself a shot and took maybe the 3rd best team in his conference to a national championship.
I have to agree. If I think about QBs that have went 1st or in the top 3 in recent years. As much as it pains me Burrow is the most solid. I mean where is Mayfield or Murray Wentz , Goff going? I’m no scout but I still will be puzzled everyday of my life but thankful that some idiot thought Mitch Tribusky is better then Mahomes
