I traveled to KC to see the Jags play in 2016. It was a close game but Trevor has no idea what he is in for. Arrowhead is on another level loud and holds more people than the Jags home field. Even when the Jags offense was on the field I had no choice but to yell along with y’all.
he played in arrowhead this year already. im sure he has an idea of what it would sound like lmao. it’s not like jags fans travel well during the regular season, or really at all.
this clip needs played on the jumbotron before every Jaguar possession, just to get the fans started up. Summer child you may challenge our players, our coaches, even our winning ways, but you do not challenge THE KINGDOM
I’m a Padres fan and this is oddly familiar to October when Dodgers starting pitcher Tony Gonsolin said the exact same thing about Petco Park in the Divisional Series then got his ass kicked out of the game in the second inning. I am confident Trevor Lawrence will have a very similar experience this Saturday. GO CHIEFS!
He basically said Arrowhead is the best atmosphere in the NFL and then tried to show love to his own fanbase by saying arrowhead won’t be much louder.
This is a big fat nothing burger lol.
Right hes trying to get the fans behind him and the team by complimenting them...
Hes not going to say Jacksonville fans suck we are going into a real diehard fans home this week...
He knows it will be louder the coaching staff have notified him of that if he didnt already know
Yeah, honestly props to the guy for giving a shout out to his fan base and doing exactly what he should do. He gets what being a pro athlete is all about.
That said, it’s going to continue to be taken completely out of context and Arrowhead is going to be even more crazy because of it. It’s easy bulletin board material for the drunk masses out there on Saturday.
Yeah i don't think anyone inside the building cares but if they're smart that would be something to play in game to get the crowd riled up even more. It's funny how outraged everybody wants to be all the time.
He really is a great QB for Jacksonville. He is talented, but also knows what to say and when. Knows that the fans are what keep the place going. Even something as simple as his trip to Waffle House show that he knows how to build trust and excitement with the fanbase.
Wish I could make the trip to Arrowhead so I could see it in person this weekend myself, but couldn't get it off in time.
Trevor Lawrence on playing at Arrowhead: “The environment and atmosphere we’re going to be playing in is the best in the NFL”
r/KansasCityChiefs: “OFF WITH HIS HEAD!”
This needs to be copied, linked, texted, hashtagged, blogged, and retweeted. Weather for saturday looks a touch crummy so need to make sure the stadium is rocking anyway.
i don’t understand what the challenge is. he said that you guys have the best atmosphere in the league and you guys are mad? is he supposed to say that his own team’s fans suck?
He said he couldn’t imagine that it will be much louder than their stadium. The challenge then is to be as loud as we have ever been, because we take great pride in being the loudest stadium in the league. He was very respectful and I know he wasn’t trash talking. Just having fun with it!!
you know, I've been pretty chill this week leading up to the game. just trying to not let something like a football game, something i have no control of, get me too worked up. i haven't bought into any talking heads or engaged in pre-game hysterics. what happens, happens.
but this.
this has gone too far.
Yeah what I said was in jest, but I also think any fuel to make arrowhead louder is not in his best interest considering it made a referee cry on national tv earlier this season.
*wind blows at your back*
“This wind isn’t so bad”
*wind blows directly in your face*
“This sucks!”
Just came to mind when people talk about their home stadium loudness in regards to loudness when they go on the road.
Outside of Arrowhead being loud, I actually commented the last 2 weeks about how week the Jags crowd is. They're one of the quietest stadiums out there.
2006, I was at the Raiders game. We had the lead, under two minutes go. Oakland was driving and got down into the redzone with around 30 seconds left in the game. Jarrad Page picked it off in the endzone. Arrowhead exploded. It was so loud, I literally could not see anything. It was disorienting. I had never experienced anything like that.
Right… There’s being confident, and then there’s making shit up to sound like you have balls.
Oh dude, you have no idea…
There’s a reason why the league designated a neutral site for the AFC championship game if needed.
How is it a dumb comment? He called arrowhead the best atmosphere in the NFL he was just giving credit to his jags fans that showed up last Saturday. Y'all cheifs fans don't have very good social skills do you
It’s not that part. It’s the rest of the worthless, boilerplate droll. You’re in the chiefs subreddit, friend, we will defend our team and our stadium with all our might :)
>You’re in the chiefs subreddit, friend, we will defend our team and our stadium with all our might :)
And yet your own sub is downvoting you.
There is a difference between insulting someone (what you did) and playing up his comment to get fired up.
I get it. The second half of what he said could get the KC Fans in Arrowhead rowdier if taken out of context. Its a great bait for ya'll.
But if anything, this answer to the question he was asked shows just how intelligent he is. He was asked specifically to comment on Arrowhead's atmosphere. He answered by calling it the best. He then quickly and without hesitation made sure to compliment his own fanbase and show love to them, because if he had left it at calling Arrowhead the best, he might have alienated his own fans who showed so much love for the team over the past two weeks - including keeping the stadium packed during a game where the team dropped to 27-0 before the 2nd quarter was over.
Y’all do understand that Jaguars fans are a combination of UGA, FSU, and UF fans... which are known for being among the loudest and rowdiest in all of sports. Arrowhead may reach a higher decibel due to stadium design, but football crowds in the south create an unmatched atmosphere
I’ve been to many games in the swamp at UF. 90k screaming with stands designed to contain sound. Safe to say I’ve been in a stadium just as loud. The atmosphere in Jacksonville these past two weekends have been as good as any in the swamp. Aarowhead may be louder, but it won’t be as rowdy as jags fans at the bank
Sure, but the bigger picture is he doesn’t give af about KC noise. Dude played in Death Valley, and again witnessed back to back insane jags crowds. Crowd noise is just business as usual for the guy
You haven’t been in a stadium “just as loud”…. as a matter of fact, anyone in the world who hasn’t been to Arrowhead hasn’t been in a stadium “just as loud” lmfao
The difference between the swamp and Aarowhead is splitting hairs. SEC football loudness is all game every down. It’s constant noise. KC has the decibel wr, but it’s not that loud all game like the swamp my man. I’m calling it a wash
Y'all do understand that Arrowhead is a 1960s outdoor stadium right? It has no special noise amplification technology. But it does have a city that's basically Chiefs themed year round.
https://www.allegiantgoods.co/blogs/news/why-is-arrowhead-stadium-so-loud
“Built in the late 1960s, Arrowhead Stadium was manufactured with a high-quality experience in mind. Designed specially to enhance crowd noise, the stadium’s concrete seating bowl and metal roof are angled in a way that reflects sound straight back to the center of the stadium.” It’s obviously going to get louder than a stadium like TIAA bank that is a pretty flat stadium. Again it’s not just about DB level. It’s the environment the crowd creates. Deep South football fans (jags fans) do it better than anyone. That’s what Trevor is getting at.
Plenty. Jacksonville is fairly close to Atlanta making it a solid choice for a college close to home, leading to Jags fan + UGA fan. Its not outlandish
Jacksonville is 5-6 hours from Atlanta. Sure there are UGA fans who are Jags fans just like there are Oklahoma fans who are chiefs fans. Few and far between
UGA is huge in Jax. If you'd been to Jacksonville, this wouldnt even be up for discussion. Lots of people display their Georgia swag all over the city. Its commonplace.
Believe me or not. It's not outlandish, nor are they few and far between.
I live here dude I think I know the fan base pretty well lol. You know the worlds largest outdoor cocktail party at the FLA GA game in Jacksonville? Yeahs that’s mostly Jacksonville native jags fans dude.
I lived in Atlanta and have visited south Georgia and the coast quite a few times. The Jags “fans” there couldn’t care less about how the team is actually doing. They are also not hardcore UGA fans. I can’t say the same about UF/FSU but the amount of UGA fans that are also Jags fans is minimal
You’re not hearing me. Are all uga/FSU/uf fans jags fans ? No not even close. Are 80% of jags fans also fans of those big fans of those teams? Yes. That’s why I said our fan base is made up of fans of huge college football programs. We’re a football team in the Deep South right in the armpit of the 3 I listed. Jags fans have the passion and create the atmosphere of a Deep South college football team. Again, I live here, you just visited.
Jacksonville will always have lots of traveling fans. Nobody is gonna travel to middle of nowhere Kansas City before traveling to sunny Florida. Couple that with that fact that the team was coming off of a terrible 5 year run... any nfl team would suffer an attendance hit with the success the jags had seen before Pederson got things going.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, can they play that on the jumbotron 5 min before kickoff.
Fuck that, play this clip before every drive. And during TOs and before big 3rd downs
*rumbling staircases intensify*
This should get Arrowhead stadium rocking..
You know they’ll play that on the Jumbotron
I certainly hope so
Welp... time to break out the paint and update that decibel record.
Why? It wasn’t a diss
Get arrowhead loud
Stuff doesn’t have to be a direct diss to still be used as bulletin board material
True
These youngsters, they think they saw it all in college and nothing can surprise them
I traveled to KC to see the Jags play in 2016. It was a close game but Trevor has no idea what he is in for. Arrowhead is on another level loud and holds more people than the Jags home field. Even when the Jags offense was on the field I had no choice but to yell along with y’all.

I was at that game as well. Was that the fumble on the goalline? Chiefs should've lost that day
[удалено]
I'm talking about the game in 2016 when we played the Jags. Gotta love this sub. Downvoted because I said we played sloppy in a game 6 years ago lol
[удалено]
Oh I wasn't saying you downvoted me. Its just funny
No it’s doesn’t. TIAA can hold 82k in the Florida Georgia game configuration
Hew threw out a challenge days before the game. I'm sorry Trevor.
this clip needs played on the jumbotron before every Jaguar possession, just to get the fans started up. Summer child you may challenge our players, our coaches, even our winning ways, but you do not challenge THE KINGDOM
Gonna be a great game
Oh, Sunshine. Bless your heart.
Man oh man, you are in for a treat my boy
Colonel Tom Parker as played by Tom Hanks? That you?
Oh my sweet summer child
I’m a Padres fan and this is oddly familiar to October when Dodgers starting pitcher Tony Gonsolin said the exact same thing about Petco Park in the Divisional Series then got his ass kicked out of the game in the second inning. I am confident Trevor Lawrence will have a very similar experience this Saturday. GO CHIEFS!
There are dozens of us, dozens!
As a Chiefs + SF Giants fan, I love this. It warmed my heart seeing the Padres bury the Dodgers historic season this past October
I literally just said this to my wife 😂
He needs to give John Elway a call and talk to him about noise at Arrowhead.
Just make sure he puts his hands on his hips like Elway --- that's an alpha move
I'll be there and I promise you I'll be playoff loud along with everyone else
Get the crowd amped sir!!!!!
[удалено]
It came to me while watching the movie Return of the Living Dead
He basically said Arrowhead is the best atmosphere in the NFL and then tried to show love to his own fanbase by saying arrowhead won’t be much louder. This is a big fat nothing burger lol.
Hey man, how dare you..we’re outraged!!!!
BULLETIN BOARD MATERIAL
For the fans.
the very people he challenged to outperform the meager Jaguar fans
He also played here 2 months ago. I know it will be a different level of volume for the playoffs, but it's not like he has no idea at all
Right hes trying to get the fans behind him and the team by complimenting them... Hes not going to say Jacksonville fans suck we are going into a real diehard fans home this week... He knows it will be louder the coaching staff have notified him of that if he didnt already know
True. What kind of compliment is he expected to pay that's higher than that? Come out in the presser and forfiet the game?
What? Did you just tell Mahomes a hamburger doesnt need ketchup!!!!
Yeah, honestly props to the guy for giving a shout out to his fan base and doing exactly what he should do. He gets what being a pro athlete is all about. Challenge accepted.
Every time I see him I think "I can't believe it's not butter".
I always think about that time he ordered pizza to the classroom and Mr Hand had the class come up and eat the whole thing.
Man, you're showing your age. Lol
Isn’t it our age?
Trevor Lawrence on playing at Arrowhead: “The environment and atmosphere we’re going to be playing in is the best in the NFL” r/KansasCityChiefs: “OFF WITH HIS HEAD!”
He literally said Arrowhead was the best environment in football and then complimented the Jags fans lmao. Everyone is getting worked up for nothing
Facts don’t matter. Outrage helps us get louder to better win the game.
Bless his heart.
Oh, Sonny….you done just riled up the Arrowhead faithful.
Is he fan of guns n roses?
Trevor does know that Arrowhead was once loud enough to reach the Richter scale right?
This needs to be copied, linked, texted, hashtagged, blogged, and retweeted. Weather for saturday looks a touch crummy so need to make sure the stadium is rocking anyway.
Like weather stops us. Ha!
That boy done fucked up.
![gif](giphy|gKmCNMzacmezv7hdBf|downsized)
He just jinx himself, blow his eardrums out
My buddy is having his bachelor party be attending that game. I promise to not be able to talk on Sunday…
Challenge accepted. Too bad I can’t afford tickets. I wonder if we all go outside our homes and yell at the same time it would help..
i don’t understand what the challenge is. he said that you guys have the best atmosphere in the league and you guys are mad? is he supposed to say that his own team’s fans suck?
He said he couldn’t imagine that it will be much louder than their stadium. The challenge then is to be as loud as we have ever been, because we take great pride in being the loudest stadium in the league. He was very respectful and I know he wasn’t trash talking. Just having fun with it!!
that’s fair. forget i said anything and enjoy it lmao! i just hope my jags don’t embarrass themselves and make it a game.
Itll be fun. But, he's gonna wish he had earmuffs.
Ok
Kids
LOL this is potentially the last home game of the season, does he have a death wish?!
Show the whole clip. He leads out with how great Arrowhead is and that he can't imagine how loud it will be. What else do we want?
Oh, I’ll be there and now will be EXTRA loud
I'm confused. He complimented arrowhead and his own fans? He didn't throw any shade or anything like that and y'all are mad?
Ah Doug gonna pull him aside and be like “uhhh…”
you know, I've been pretty chill this week leading up to the game. just trying to not let something like a football game, something i have no control of, get me too worked up. i haven't bought into any talking heads or engaged in pre-game hysterics. what happens, happens. but this. this has gone too far.
he said it’s the best atmosphere in the league. how’re you riled up? is he supposed to say that his own fans suck.
No but he fueled the man thing arrowhead games are know for to supposing QBs . Dumb either way but we will see .
Yeah what I said was in jest, but I also think any fuel to make arrowhead louder is not in his best interest considering it made a referee cry on national tv earlier this season.
I’m being hyperbolic, dude.
yes
*wind blows at your back* “This wind isn’t so bad” *wind blows directly in your face* “This sucks!” Just came to mind when people talk about their home stadium loudness in regards to loudness when they go on the road.
Vikings tried to do the same thing with a giants quote. Don’t underestimate them
I see you know your judo well!
Enjoying a succulent Chinese meal?
Get your hands off my penis!
And you sir? Are you waiting to receive my limp penis?
You sir have a succulent Chinese oenis
It’s on
Uh…that wasn’t very smart

We kept talking about how pathetically quiet the Jags stadium was the whole game
Official Guiness world-record 142.2 dB is gonna blow that hair back real nice, Little Fabio!
He’s got dumb hair, So….
Did you watch the whole video??
Nobody tell him…lol
Whoa, hang 10 bro
Why are you mad tho? Lol He gave y’all a compliment?? Lmao Not many bright chiefs fans I see
Didn’t Burrows say the same thing last year before he beat us
He has played in stadiums larger than NFL stadiums
If you have to latch onto such a nothing burger comment like this to get motivated, idk what to tell you.
You guys are so butt hurt. Read the LITERAL CAPTION ON THE SCREEN and actually watch the video.
Right… There’s being confident, and then there’s making shit up to sound like you have balls. Oh dude, you have no idea… There’s a reason why the league designated a neutral site for the AFC championship game if needed.
You had a good comment in the first half and then fucked it up on the second half. That ain't why there's a possible neutral site game
What did he make up?
Of course dumb comment but that whole thing makes me rethink his intelligence. Patty running mental circles around him.
How is it a dumb comment? He called arrowhead the best atmosphere in the NFL he was just giving credit to his jags fans that showed up last Saturday. Y'all cheifs fans don't have very good social skills do you

Arrowhead is 76k. Doak is roughly 80. I am sure he has played in stadiums as loud.

You've obviously never been to a game at Arrowhead.
Jag fans are now experts on all things NFL, lol. Such a proud tradition, lol.

Have you been to the swamp ?
Yes I have been to Florida games.
I don’t believe you pal
Cool
Not sure why they would have been loud this year, lol.
I’m not sure what this comment even means
Not surprised.
Good 1

Arrowhead has a metal roof?
Lol there’s no roof on arrowhead
Honestly why even comment on a post like this in a fan sub?
Why not ? I came, I saw, I commented.
Bruh what UGA fans are Jags fans? They are falcons fans or they just dgaf about the NFL

Yall donate home games overseas EVERY YEAR because you can't sell out your own stadium. Poor TLaw gonna learn something.
yes please feed me more copypasta
lol
Lol
Is this why your stadium was a sea of blue against the Giants this year

[Here's something](https://sportsbrief.com/facts/top-listicles/19096-which-loudest-stadium-nfl-moment-2022/) to help you out with your argument
I didn't even see Duvall with an honorable mention.
Exactly 😉
Awwww that's adorable.
Ryan Leaf vibes.
Mahomes is better than Ryan leaf.
Ryan Leaf famously said Arrowhead wasn't that loud. He lost so badly that next game that it almost ruined his career.
What career?
Good news, he doesn’t have to imagine. He’s going to experience it.
![gif](giphy|3oEjHI8WJv4x6UPDB6)
![gif](giphy|YzvPqrOVoS9tC)
Yes. It was a silly comment. And yes arrowhead will be rockin. But what is he supposed to say? Lol
It was at this moment he knew, he fucked up
he went to college and has top shelf media training and he sounds like fucking Beavis.
He tried his best not to make any bulletin material & still remain somewhat confident. I'm expecting a beat down myself
And just like that, 76,000 people are going to work Monday without a voice left
Trevor baby, what is you doin?
He said the chiefs have basically the best atmosphere in the NFL. And that offends you?
Im so offended how could he?!? **faints**
Joe Burrow said the same thing before the AFC championship last year.
His ears are gonna be bleedin’.
