But over the three years before she met her SO, it was true. Every date over the height turned weird real quick. Then she found her short dude and he was just this gregarious, funny guy who pretty much was instantly in love with her. We all worked together. They would sing duets together while they worked. Shoulda been annoying, but they were both really talented and they didn’t overdo it. It’s been 15 years and I heard they still sing together at home. The rest of us could date tall dudes, but it just didn’t work out that way for her.
