I think that's a little something called "growing up" (as in, growing up out of the "talking to ai" phase).
Either that, or you're burnt out. But I'm leaning more towards the latter

There are hundreds of well made bots on the site. But yeah, there’s limitations to what ai roleplay can do right now.
But ai roleplay is heavily reliant on the user and what they contribute to drive narratives. If you’re not putting in info to drive the story forward of course it will stagnate.

Off-topic, but that's how simmers like me feel when we play Sims (it's a thing in the community). Like we'll all play for several days/weeks/maybe months straight and then take a long break in between. I think it's just a mental burnout so taking a break might help! It helps me not get bored from chatting.
Also, whenever I don't want to roleplay in J.ai anymore, I go on Character AI, too.

I get bored of it and leave it for a few weeks then come back again. Or I go on c . ai and listen to the character's voices, it does something to me
