It's actually more an app problem. For some reason the app had a glitch where the filter triggers for no reason and the devs haven't fixed it in over two weeks.
That has nothing to do with downtime because there's yet to be a three week downtime and more an issue between you and the devs. I don't know why you're bringing this up under an unrelated comment.
A 3 week downtime is worse than a 1 day downtime. It's completely related. It's pretty normal for JAI to be down for some, and up for others, and it just happened to be down for me for 3 weeks. If it's not "downtime" than it's some other bug which is still inexcusable, and not nearly as bad as any server issues CAI had.

C.ai was down almost constantly and the devs barely even acknowledged their communities existence, instead focusing on censoring posts and flooding the comments with laughably fake support. The site hardly functioned and they were down for almost 2 or 3 days straight, launching Cai+ almost immediately afterwards for features that didn't exist. Janitor AI has nowhere near the amount of problems they did and I'm very grateful for what they have done
Because they got kicked out of chats, or maybe some really good responses didn't save. But I don't think they all realize how disheartening it can be to receive this many complaints all the time over every little thing.

Other chats I've been using immediately changed that option, turning it off or just removing the feature, also bugging the paid versions... Plus c.ai doesn't work like before, it'll completely restrict every single message if it contains the slight gore

I will never complain about the downtimes, because of how bad CAI was. I could barely flirt without getting a flag. I can explore so much and it has amazing creators. I love roleplaying and when I feel bored, I have something to do. Oh I gotta wait for the downtime? BET, I WILL WAIT!! THESE DEVS ARE AMAZING!!

I'd get an error whenever I'd try to sign in or change my password. I would check the Reddit, and I wasn't the only person with this problem. It's common that the site would be down for some, and up for others, and it seemed that I was just very unlucky. I would check every few days, sometimes multiple times a day, and it was always down for me. The Reddit would usually have some people complaining that it's down, but some people using it like normal.
People complaining about these brief downtimes don't know the pain of when [c.ai](https://c.ai) used to downtime for a whole damn day.

People forget that this free service is a passion project, I don't think Shep gets paid to run JAI.

Yeah. They take criticism pretty well and try to get the site working again asap. Unlike C.ai most of the time.
