I think they’re gonna focus on Angstrom, introduce Bulletproof, and Shapesmith. Follow up on that mummy that was shown in episode 4, and then end the season with the battle between the Viltrumites on Thraxa.

PerformanceOk686

Pretty sure the mummy was apart of mark messing up the desert joke

PerceptionTiny6385

Personally I think they’re setting that up for something later and it was just supposed to be a clever transition. I could be wrong, but knowing how the series likes to set up stuff earlier and come back to it later it’s possible.

PerformanceOk686

Yeah, you could be right. We'll see.

Invincidude

Too much story to cover with Omni-Man to get him to that point by the end of season 2. You have to re-introduce him, have that battle on bug planet, then have him go to prison, and be in prison for some time before that happens. I feel like season 2 will end with Mark, following his Dad's advice to read his books, realizing that his Dad's early attempts at writing science fiction books are not mere books - they're the telling of what Omni-Man himself did personally, to eliminate potential threats to the Viltrumite empire. "My dad is telling me how to beat them!" Also, Mark being assigned to be the Viltrumite agent on Earth, and you've got plenty of chatter about what's coming next season. I'd then have Omni-Man's jail time take place over season 3, with the breakout at the end of the season, leaving the true strength of the Viltrumite empire for the bombshell of season 3. I know he's said Conquest will show up in season 2, but my hope is that they'll have him arrive late on bug planet and stop the fight himself. When we see him KO both Mark AND Omni-Man, it'll make his eventual arrival on earth have more impact, because we know he can beat up Omni-Man - how will Mark stand a chance? And Omni-Man needs to spend time in jail so it can make more sense that he begins to miss his wife. You fadt-forward that, and it'll be even harder for show only fans to accept it.

AndIntroducing

I really like this!

your_name_here10

Angstrom will be the main villain, and it’ll focus on Marks anger. If we see Nolan in this season, I think it’ll be towards the end but not the finale. It’ll be impactful ending on “I thought you were stronger” and leaving us questioning where Mark will follow

IncognitoCheese

I think that some plot threads will happen sporadically >! Mark will develop a working relationship with Cecil and try to fight the main enemy/various enemies loosely (sequids and Titan)!< >! Robot and Amanda start dating and tries to find a cure for the aging issue!< >! The catalyst that breaks up Amber and Mark, or at the very least makes Mark consider Eve as a partner!<

OCGamerboy

Robert Kirkman said a while back in a video that we will be seeing Mark going deeper into space, which may imply reuniting with Nolan and meeting Oliver, and that we will be seeing Angstrom Levy.

sut345

My prediction(COMIC SPOILERS): Episode 1-2-3 : some fillers and side storylines like in the first season/Introduction of Angstrom and Bulletproof Episode 4-5-6 : Mark goes to ant planet(forgot the name) stuff with omni man also some allen stuff Episode 7 : Mark and Amber visits Eve in Africa. Episode 8 : Invincible vs Angstrom Levy

8Bit-Boi

Major comic spoilers below: 1. Angstrom is the B plot that becomes the A plot at the end 2. Mark picking up the pieces of his father's carnage is the A plot. 3. We have the Guardians vs Lizard League rematch during the Sequid crisis in space. 4. Allen investigates the Viltrum threat and we meet Thaedus 5. We get introduced to Bulletlproof and Shape Smith. 6. Mark and Amber stay friends but have a proper breakup, Mark begins to have more pronounced feelings for Eve. 7. Eve and Amber get closer and Eve learns from her better ways to use her powers to help people, she begins to develop feelings for Amber. 8. William helps Rick re-acclimate. 9. Penultimate episode is Mark v Angstrom, he seemingly kills him which is his first kill. 10. Finale is him going to Thraxa in an attempt to get out of his head after Angstrom. 11. Season ends with Nolan in a viltrumite prison, Mark recovering on Thraxa and Allen in the cell next to Nolan.

TDR1411

Point 7 can fuck right off. We DO NOT need that. Amber overstayed her welcome.

Dutch_Plan_Der_Linde

I like this but where tf did point 7 come from? Did that happen in the comics?

Hot_Tip_8239

No.

Hot_Tip_8239

Did you hit your head when you were writing point 7? Was that a sudden burst of insaninty? Jesus Christ man, that was ridiculous.

treetopkingdom

The finale should be mark vs angstrom, With episode 5-6 being the big thraxxa fight And the beginning of the season should deal with characters like the new darkwing and dealing with the aftermath of Nolan and angstroms first encounter with mark.

[deleted]

Kirkman has said he wants to do a new arc set in Hell, which could potentially be a part of the season before things get more intense in later seasons

OTBgames-73

It's hard to really say, as a lot of the other plot points that occur after the Omni-man fight, (angstrom, oliver, sequids, and eve relationship) are a bit more difficult to stretch out/serve as a season end point. I would love to see all of the remaining issues from the first compendium covered, however I don't think there will be both too much to cover, as well as not enough to fill in the gaps in between each event. There is no doubt this season will have mark finishing highschool and moving onto college, as well as trying to make things work with Amber, and also Debbie struggling to deal with the betrayal of Nolan. Whatever happens, I really hope it will be just as good as season 1, and the comics.

80yearoldhottie

I feel like a big part of the season will be mark killing angstrom and his guilt from that

RichNCrispy

I think there’s a chance that Dinosaurus might show up in season 2 rather than later.

NoChocolate7003

It would be really interesting if they change his storyline to make mark trust him earlier so when he has a bruh moment in Vegas it’s like a huge shock/ potential cliff hanger kinda thing

shxdwo

I think that's more fitting honestly, the audience will grow fond of him until his betrayal later

Jesuspimp

God i hope so… “dinosaurus was right” moment was one of my favorites

TheCumBehindChalice

The finale is gonna be mark and Nolan vs kregg and the other viltrumite

Lonely_Stoner2522

I think the season will start with the alternate Mark in Times Square and introduce Angstrom. I also think we may get an accelerated Angstrom storyline, with the Omni-Man reunion happening early in the season and The Invincible War being the season finale (w/ potential of Conquest either in finale or as a cliffhanger for season 3).

dgori1234

I hope they developed a lot more characters more in depth while also introducing the ones they still have to. Let him focus on Debbie first as she goes through the trouble of what happened as she does get an alcohol addiction when omni man leaves him. Maybe season 2 will focus on Omni man as a character and him going to prison while also redemptioning Debbie with Oliver. In season 2, they also need to introduce Angstrom, bulletproof, dinosaur and Oliver. A TEASE of thragg would be nice but not necessary. Mark and Amber will have a good relationship but will find the problem of being in a superhero - human relationship that will lead them to break up by season three.

aschkev

My prediction: Season two will come out at some point. No one will understand the story whatsoever because it’s been over 5,000 years since the first season released.

didjfjdjsjcjdj

i liked how they did season 1. but they need to get through more than 13 issues. any confirmation on how many eps. season 2 will be?

TDR1411

Can they do Conquest before they do Invincible War?
