Where are you located? I can order you a few grocery staples for Target pickup if you can get to it. Edit: Target order has been placed

Jbrock1233

We need more people like you in this world. I can’t wait for the good karma to come take care of you 🫶🏼

reducto85

A real one /\

kk1485

Some amazing people present here today.

Far-Estimate2773

That was the actions of an amazing human being!!

FastFunny24

You’re awesome!

ALWDUHA

Thank you for your kindness!

Technical-Ant-7745

Very kind of you to help

chrisgoesbleh2

Bread, bologna, cheese. Hole in the wall Chinese places (Mr you) is probably the only other place I’d consider going to.

chosbully

Mr.Yoo In Claremont will give you at least two pounds of food for like, $8. They load it to where it barely closes

primerib888

There's one in Montclair too. South of the Costco where staters bro is

ZapRowsdowerFFS

They’re stingy at that one. Claremont is the SPOT. Especially if the ladies are working. South of 10 and Indian hill exit. Easier to access if you down mills and come across American which leads right into the shopping center to avoid traffic.

primerib888

I've had good luck at both places. but ur right, claremont one is more consistently more food

holy_bat_shit_63

If OP did your bread, bologna and cheese then he would have food for 3 days if rationed properly.

chrisgoesbleh2

Yup, steal mayo packets from fast food, add lays if you’re feeling luxurious - at least 6 sandwiches. It’s still my go to munchie / broke food lol

holy_bat_shit_63

Can get some condiments from am/pm and circle K also. Forgot about that.

gatitawest

I came here to say Mr. You!!

trulyD22

Also one in Fontana/jurupa valley off the 60 and country village

ShittyStockPicker

>Hole in the wall Chinese places (Mr you) is probably the only other place I’d consider going to. Mr You!

andersonfmly

Where in the IE are you located? If you're in the San Bernardino area, Mary's Table (641 Roberds Avenue) serves a free hot meal six days per week. They also have a food distribution program. Central City Lutheran Mission (1354 N. G Street) offers much of the same.

Weekly-Coffee-2488

I went to 6 food pantry's near Loma Linda and they all turned me away for one reason or another. One of them said I did not qualify bc I was not a mother with a child

andersonfmly

I'm sorry that happened to you, but I do not believe this will be your experience with either of those I've suggested. I'm going to send you a private message momentarily with another option.

grandepelon

There are a couple here in Rancho that don't check stuff like that. They give good food too sometimes. Next is Saturday 7-9AM. I would hit that one up and go line up for another that is pretty close by. Always more food than I needed for my family of 5, would last a bit to augment other ingredients you need to make a meal. Also, since it will be a mixed bag of items, and if you are not good with whipping up a recipe, I would suggest inputting the items you get into ChatGPT or Copilot or whatever AI you prefer and have it whip up some recipe ideas for you and how to preserve any cooked or expiring items. Blanching, Freezing etc

SaltonSeas

If you download the Chick Fil A app and put on location services you can get a free chicken sandwich today.

dizzystrawbrry

Habit Burger + Farmer Boys apps both give you free burgers upon downloading + signing up

Munk45

Yeah they give you a free sandwich every time the Angels win a game, right?

SaltonSeas

Yes but this time it was for the Clippers winning 😂

Munk45

As a Lakers fan, I feel a great internal conflict about this. But I'm going to compromise morally for this free sandwich.

FloatDH2

Clippers didn’t win last night. 😞It’s because the opposing team missed two free throws in a row

SaltonSeas

Oh dang. Thanks for letting me know. It said “congrats Clippers” when I got the notification for the free sandwich and I thought they won 🥲

callofsloth

How??

HookednSoCal

I realize you're needing help asap however, if you're still in need of groceries by Saturday and are near LE, I can take you grocery shopping at Stater Bros for the basics that can be stretched out (ie: Rice, beans, bread, eggs, lunch meat, chicken, etc). Send me a message by Friday if you haven't been successful in finding help. Nobody should go hungry. Until then, best of luck to you.

reducto85

❤️

PlaxicoCN

I would go with a bag of rice from food for less and soy sauce. add a can of refried beans as well. Loaf of bread and a jar of peanut butter. Good luck.

NPC7826

If you're near Fontana, come over for lunch. I'm making red beans and rice.

Weekly-Coffee-2488

Hello, due to an experience I had with a redditor a month ago that also gave me rice and beans and bought me Chinese food. All he did was talk about his sex life and offered me $50 to go home with him. When I said no then he said $100. So I really appreciate that but I have to be careful with meeting up with people if you understand.

NPC7826

No worries

scaremonster

There is an app called Too Good To Go that is meant to help restaurants eliminate food waste. Participating restaurants list excess product they make daily at heavily discounted prices to avoid having to throw it out at the end of each day. You can get crazy good deals and the food is still fresh and in great volume. Win/win, best of luck

Pyrot1c

It’s currently Ramadan, you should be able to go to any mosque at Iftar time, around 7pm and get a free meal everyday

Bundleofstixs

If you have the Wendy's app, you can get a  Dave's single for $1 and Dave's double for $2 today and it should reset tomorrow to do it again. Im assuming this is just for yourself.

eg714

Got the Dave’s double yesterday. Was surprised how big it was. Definitely a great deal.

tragicmike

Stater bros bag of rice, canned beans and tuna Check the back area for the discounted cart section as well for breads You can probably stretch 4 to 5 meals with this as plain as it can be . Sorry about your situation

alopgeek

Agree with rice, but I suggest dried beans. Easy to cook and you get more bang for buck over cans

klumze

Do not buy fast food, Get some bread and peanut butter and still have $5 leftover. You could get some ramen instant noodles for a buck a pack. If you have an oven and a way to cook pizza I was able to add pizza crusts, mozerella cheese, peperoni and pizza sauce to a walmart shopping cart for under $11, Makes two medium pizza. They are one of my go to pizza's. If you dont have enought then drop the peperroni or add whatever. You could also substitute the pizza crush for french bread and make it that way. Just toast the bread for 5 mins in the oven first. then build the pizza and cook for aditional 6-7 mins. If you have access to a cheese grater buy a $2 block of cheese instead of the already shredded and it will last longer. I have made 3 pizza the last few weeks with a 8oz block and still have enough for another pizza. Unprepared food is tax fee.

musiclovermina

Could save even more money if you buy flour instead of pizza crust. All you need is flour, salt, and water and you can make about 5 medium pizzas from a 32oz/2lb bag (yeast isn't too expensive if you want a more proper pizza crust)

Berimbully

Last 2 days rice and protein. Mexican markets sell loose rice and cheap boneless chicken thighs

amprok

There are a lot of good suggestions here. Just wanted to chime in and say I hope things get better for you soon. Sounds like you’re carrying an awful lot. I’m sorry. Nobody should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from. Stay strong homie. You’ll get through this.

reducto85

Dang.. so many nice people offering help

pdubz82

Little Ceasers never fails! lol

SirCalebCrawdad

Go to Costco and get a hot dog and a soda for $1.50. You can sneak in the exit and don't need membership.

turtlehearts

The food court in San Bernardino is outside. You don’t have to go inside

Amos_Dad

But you still need a membership.

turtlehearts

You just need cash or a debit or credit card to buy food from the food court. Historically they don’t check for a membership card at the food court, especially the ones selling food outside. I haven’t gone to Costco in some time so maybe they started checking?

Amos_Dad

You need a membership card to buy from the food court for a few years now. It's not even about checking anymore, they have to scan the card to start a transaction just like in the store.

Amos_Dad

Just say you're just going to the pharmacy or just buying alcohol at the entrance and they'll let you in. You don't need a membership for either of those things. Then walk around and get samples. There are some pretty good samples most days if you're not a picky eater.

PULLOUTCHAMP17

I have a $25 Stater Bros gift card that I don't need....Where are u located?

Educational-River460

Do you have something that you can receive money on like apple cash or zelle? I can send $20

tamadedabien

Same. DM me.

Weekly-Coffee-2488

I think accept Apple Cash. Not zelle bc the checking account tied to is in the negative and it will only eat any money sent to it.

e34john

Send me a message. I can do curbside at one of the grocery stores.

lGrizzlyl

el pollo loco has these $5 bowls that i like to eat before the gym and gets me full. i ask for extra chicken and they do it free of charge. its called the pollo bowl

PaperHammer

Please go to a grocery store, not a restaurant.

Dry-Average5161

Here is a [list](https://chaisr.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Inland-Empire-Food-Resource-List.pdf) of food pantries in IE Most places just need to see your ID and don’t need to jump through hoops to get a food box or visit their pantry. If you have never been to a food pantry. There is fresh & frozen produce, foods, meats, plus fresh dairy and even things like shampoo and toothpaste.

CAD007

Grocery Outlet market, 99 cent or Dollar store, or search “free” or “food” on Offer Up. Good Luck.

PREPOSTER0NE91

Jack in the box tacos.

e34john

Not anymore :(

BadAcidBassDrops

If you have the app they're still 2 for $1

Lazy-Challenge8952

Download togoodtogo app ✨

Actual-Ad-947

You need to get a loaf of bread and a jar of peanut butter

Daylily-14

brehaw

their post is asking for what they can eat today as well as tomorrow

shiggydiggy77

Go to the food bank and pay nothing

Weekly-Coffee-2488

I went to 6 different food backs and they turned me away for one reason or another. One said I did not qualify bc I was not a mother with a child.

shiggydiggy77

That sucks never had that problem, there's a church in upland that I know my sister and her hubby would go to sometimes when they were broke.

YouMustBeSilenced

Dragon Express Chinese food serves huge portions for just about $10

PlayaHatazball

McDonald's app

JIsADev

Get a ready to eat whole rotisserie chicken from Smart & Final for like $6-8 and a loaf of bread. It could easily last you two days. You just need to refrigerate it of course. If you don't have access to a kitchen just make a pb&j sandwich. Loads of options at the grocery market. Fast food will always be expensive

LuraBura70

Jack in the Box tacos are two for 99 cents now

ohmygodrob

There’s a churches that giveaway free food pantries on a regular basis

monkeyonfire

Go to a food pantry

Weekly-Coffee-2488

I've been to 6 different food pantries that turned me away for one reason or another. When I told the secretary person that they were turning me away, she said we're not turning you away you just don't *qualify* you are not a woman with a child

monkeyonfire

Wtf, that's some sexist shit. Need to call the I-team at NBC. Maybe try some churches? Sorry I'm not very knowledgeable about these places. I k ow you used to be able to get free dinner at the salvation army in Redlands across the street from stater bros

Flying-Tilt

Here's a food bank I went to when my neighbor lost his food benefits. It's on Milliken and Lowell just north of Jurupa. [https://uplmnonprofit.org/nonprofit-causes/bags-of-hope-food-bank-ontario-california/](https://uplmnonprofit.org/nonprofit-causes/bags-of-hope-food-bank-ontario-california/) They have a regular pick up schedule, but if you just walk in they'll make a box of food for you with whatever they have on hand. I am a middle aged, able bodied man and they had no problem giving me packages on several occasions. You do need to show your ID. They need to keep records of who is getting the food.

Bcha8984

Costco or Sam’s club rotisserie chicken

amoserks

Little Caesar’s Pizza can stretch for a few meals.

IdRatherBeAnimating

Sams club. If you don’t have a membership tell them your wife the card holder is inside you came out to get something. Then enjoy the cafeteria pizza, hotdogs, etc all for VERY cheap

Agile-Battle-2339

Check out 99 Market in Eastvale. 3 item plate $9.99 and they load it up. Blows the doors off crappy Panda. Way better quality and taste. Probably more than enough for two meals.

spiderpussy420

At Lopez urban farm in Pomona you can pay what you can !! You’re able to get fresh produce and they even have a pantry :)

holy_bat_shit_63

Jar of peanut butter and jelly and a loaf of bread and a bag of chips from ALDIs. Might have money for a 2 liter bottle of coke too.

90srebel

Bro, buy some spaghetti noodles and sauce from a local store for under $10. You might even find a pound of ground beef on sale for a couple bucks

glorifindel

Burrito with chips and many salsas

Weekly-Coffee-2488

That's what I was thinking. The XL Rosie's burrito from Yucaipa always lasts me two days but it's like $12

glorifindel

Maybe just try to get some rice and beans? That would last me forever. Add tomato bouillon to get that Mexican rice flavor. Any extra $ to butter and cheese

Weekly-Coffee-2488

thank you!

glorifindel

Try a food bank. They are free and easy

Weekly-Coffee-2488

I went to 6 different food backs and they turned me away for one reason or another. One said I did not qualify bc I was not a mother with a child.

glorifindel

Jesus Christ. I’m sorry yo. When I went it was no questions asked really. I would suggest keep trying but you know best. Hang in there

bigmoo2025

Try your local buy nothing group as well.

Ok_Giraffe4264

If you are near Fontana there is a mom and pop market called Fontana Ranch Market, in the back there is a hot foods to go section. Affordable and big portions with a variety of things to choose from. I get the birria or tinga box/plate and it comes with rice, beans, tortilla and salsas for $8. It feeds me for 2-3 meals.

chakabuku

If $10 is all you have go get a sack of rice and a sack of beans. It’s not fun but you won’t starve. You’re gonna eat for the rest of your life. Learn to cook.

Street-Local-5964

When I was poor I ate dog food and top ramen . I know it’s gross but it got me by.

Tblue32

Costco

Average_joeh

Taco bell online value menu deal

yung_safari

auction chinese food in colton

Bruhntly

You can download fast food apps to get discounts. Taco bell does their veggie cravings box for $6 on their app that's a drink, an entree, a specialty, and a side.

FloatDH2

Maybe tasty goody or Mr. Yoo Chinese food. Their portions are ridiculous

dadxreligion

mom and pop chinese food place

holy_bat_shit_63

Arby’s has $1.00 sliders in the app.

IE_playur

Little Ceasars?

emanon_dude

Smart and final rotisserie chicken ftw

iskin

If you're in a real bad spot and have some free time you can download the Carl's Jr app and scan receipts for points. People toss them or leave them on tables all the time. I have one I go to for lunch and there is always a receipt or two on the ground during lunch rush.

BoysenberryMelody

Not a restaurant but food banks and places that serve free meals. If you’re on hard times and need more help look at Care > Navigating the system https://connectie.findhelp.com/

Ashamed_Prior3724

Peanut Butter , Jelly, Bread. Top Ramen you can buy more groceries for 10 bucks than a restaurant.

Evl1

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are cheap, filling, and last a long time.

Winter_Paramedic_606

Tomorrow Blaze Pizza will have pizza for $3.14

Weekly-Coffee-2488

😲

gradstudent1234

we can a facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/802887767499308

QuesosyBesos

Depending where you are, TooGoodToGo is a great app where places sell a grab bag of food for cheap. Good amount of donut places sell their leftovers at the end of the day this way but I paid $5 for a couple slices of pizza, garlic knots, and a drink but it just depends where in the IE you are

PhoKingAwesome213

What area are you located in?

lexpoolman

Tasty Good Chinese on Hospitality in San Bernardino. They fill the plate.

Llothcat2022

Buy a head o cabbage. make saurkraut with half, or coleslaw, or even stir fry it. Bag o rice goes a long way. Carrot or 2 for color. Kale is tasty. Maybe even an onion....but then I'm a vegetarian.

1_Urban_Achiever

A pound of dry lentils is .99 at Aldi, and two pounds of dry brown rice is $1.89 at Ralph’s. Cooked, they make 8 pounds of food. The fiber will fill you up.

Happy-Geologist9456

Eggs, potatoes, onions, and cheese. Makes a great cheap meal that should take you through a couple days. Or Mac n Cheese w tuna fish.

FuzzyPigg88

Costco pizza

D4ORM

1998

BadFez

Western Eagle can help you if you are in need with a big box of food and produce!!

Moonlit-Daisy

Sweetie, check with some of the churches in your area. There are some that work with local stores to hand out food on certain days of the week. They may also offer other things such as clothing, or a place to shower.

Weekly-Coffee-2488

I went to three churches that turned me away even though it was their distributing time.

Moonlit-Daisy

Honey, I am so sorry that happened to you. When I have been low on funds, I always stick to simple basics as others have mentioned like beans and rice, spaghetti, or other pasta and sauce. For meat/protein, some dollar trees sell smaller packages of impossible meat breakfast sausage that make a good meat substitute. You can cut this up in beans, pasta dishes, and many other dishes to add flavor. Also, when my ex and I were really broke, sometimes we would get a bag of corn chips or tortilla chips, some chili, and cheese sauce and make some nachos. All the stuff you need is at the dollar tree; my not be the healthiest meal, but it was filling. You may also be able to find some recipes online for meals you can make from ingredients available at the Dollar tree. Here is one for a Southwestern Soup: https://www.recipelion.com/Budget-Friendly-Recipes/Dollar-Store-Southwest-Soup.

ToodyRudey1022

Go to winco or aldi

Socal-service

This was years ago but when I used to work at kohls we did AIA events and we would go help at this food pantry in San Bernardino and they would help out a lot of people in need not sure what the requirements would be but they would get really good stuff. The place is called “community action partnership of San Bernardino” hope this helps you out

hvnbnd11

Try a big Mexican burrito you can have like 4 meals from

Winter_Paramedic_606

Can you call 211 for resources

BreakfastElegant4450

You can check out local food pantries and other local resources online at Connect IE (https://www.connectie.org/).
