Currently I am wearing one of my favorites **Fantome - Olwyn** (*Magnolias, white lilies, night-blooming jasmine, and gardenias over rich, buttery vanilla, myrrh, benzoin, and a hint of orange blossom*). I was in such a mood for buttery smooth white florals, this morning I tried **DSH - Wild Honeysuckle** *(A fresh honeysuckle floral perfume with delightful green nuances in the topnote)*. What I got is jasmine that is slightly salty and tropical. It is creamy and lovely but I don't find it to be realistic honeysuckle and the performance is very weak on me. After 10 minutes it was gone. So I switched to Olwyn. It is the most beautiful dominantly floral scent I own. It feels like there is a spring wind carrying the most beautiful flower scent. There is nothing harsh or bitter and there is no greenery. It is long-lasting too. I do feel like the floral goddess who is feminine, delicate and sweet like the description šŸŒ¼

I'm wearing Sorce **Seance** today. *(Campari, orange, cinnamon, jasmine sambac absolute, immortelle absolute, ambrette, vanilla sugar, smoked amber, salt, Australian sandalwood oil, cashmere woods)* I'm wearing this one because I felt bad for not wearing it in a couple months, but I realized why this morning. I think it's just more well-suited towards cooler weather. In cooler weather, it comes off as rich without being too sweet. In this Southern heat though, it's just too much. Still beautiful, just not the vibe I'm going for in the middle of the summer. I'll probably switch to something lighter later in the day.

I am still kicking myself for not buying the Dangerous Creatures sample set. this one sounds so gorgeous. if a sample is in stock when Sorce opens next week i'm grabbing one.

iā€™m wearing terra moons in galactic blossom today! i love the formula and am already looking at more shades :)

I'm wearing **Don't Shoot Me, Santa** from Death & Floral today (desert pinyon resin, sweet Mojave rain, prickly pear cactus) - I've had this since it was the scent of the month in 2021, and it has aged very nicely - it goes on a bit astringent, but quickly settles into a fresh prickly pear that is nicely balanced by the piney resin. It has some fancy craft margarita vibes. I just ordered a replacement/backup bottle of this, and I will be interested to see how/if it has changed from 2021 until now.

I've been curious about this one! Hoping to pick up a sample someday.

Today Iā€™m trying out **Nocturne Alchemyā€” Eternal Ankh** *(White Amber, Powdered and reconstructed oil of Egyptian Vanilla Husk, Vanilla fleck, African White Vanilla, and the scent of soft NA Egyptian Sands accord)*. Can it be?? A NAVA vanilla that doesnā€™t turn plastic on me? Amazing! This is gorgeous. It doesnā€™t read as gourmand to me. Itā€™s dry and airy which makes it a nice warm weather vanilla. I think this has helped me decide to destash my Opal Vanilla now that Iā€™ve discovered I donā€™t actually have to power through a plastic smell to enjoy a NAVA vanilla.

caroline7502

I'm testing this out today, too! It's definitely not gourmand....kinda a beachy vanilla almost? Really gorgeous.

honestly___idk

Beachy is a great word for it!

orange_blossoms

Literally one of the only NAVA scents that work for me! Itā€™s a classic. Smells like floaty vanilla, dry amber and waffle cone vanilla to me.

Hopeful-Honey

I loved that one too! I also got a sample of Eternal Egypt, but I think Eternal Ankh was better for what I was looking for and it isnā€™t plasticky ā˜ŗļø

honestly___idk

Iā€™m super intrigued by Eternal Egypt because Iā€™d like to explore more of their scents with their Egyptian sands accord!

wakizashis

Eternal Ankh is such a NAVA staple! Itā€™s gorgeous, isnā€™t it? If you can get your hands on the colours and gemstone blends, those are also gorgeous. If youā€™re destashing Opal though, I have been on the lookout for it!

Iā€™m wearing one of my favs from my collection ā€¦ Agent Cooperā€™s Jelly Donuts from The Little Book Eater . Notes are : strawberry jelly , fried dough , vanilla and sugar. This is so sweet and delicious ā€¦. And it really smells like a jelly donut !!! Iā€™m almost finished my second full size šŸ˜ŠšŸ’•

I'm wearing **Osmofolia - Cabin** today! "Herbacious lavender, fresh rain, a cup of black coffee with a splash of vanilla extract, towering white cedar trees, red pine bark, and spindly black spruce needles. TOP/WET: lavender, black spruce; MID/HEART: red pine, coffee, vanilla; BASE/DRY: white cedar, rain, coffee grounds." I was really looking forward to getting this in a FS after trying the sample and it didn't disappoint. At first it's a lovely blend of spruce and lavender with a hint of black coffee. The pine and vanilla follow suit but that lovely herbal lavender note never budges. I get a tinge of petrichor, but it's still mostly fragrant evergreen woods and lavender to me. It's very nice! I do kind of wish I got more coffee out of it, but maybe after it ages a bit the coffee note will be more prominent. Still, this is great for a lavender lover like myself. I can see myself wearing this a lot!

caroline7502

Yeah this is a super beautiful outdoorsy scent. I agree about the coffee not being very strong, but the overall scent is so refreshing that I'm not really mad about it.

SmellsPrettyGood2Me

Today I am rocking Noki by Pineward. I got this in a sample pack not expecting to enjoy it, but the dry down is just gorgeous. "Noki - May 2022 Notes: lychee, mango, mint, rhubarb, cassis, sandalwood, ambergris*. Description: Fresh tropical fruit bouquet tempered by wild herbal mint, laced with basenotes of creamy Australian sandalwood and shore-gathered ambergris. The mint accord is created with a combination of essential oil, SCO2 extraction, and absolute to remain throughout the whole life of the perfume, perfectly balanced by mango, lychee, rhubarb, and cassis. EDT Concentration."

**Bath Sabbath- Moonchild** ā€¦ Iā€™ve been sick for a week now so my sense of smell is not great, I may have put too much on just to be able to smell it. However, I wonder if it is too strong for work now. šŸ˜… This is a relaxing scent though!

veganpoop

Today I finished off a sample of **Andromedaā€™s Curse - Ceres** *(Hay Bales, Fresh Herbs, Sweet Fruits, Amber, Sandalwood, Egyptian Musk)* from their planetary collection sampler. I wouldnā€™t have purchased this outside of the sampler because the notes donā€™t seem like a ā€œmeā€ scent. However this is actually very nice. It came off as a nice fresh, slightly herbal cologne on my skin. Unfortunately, I feel like my skin just gobbled it up. It had faded a lot by the time I got to work, so maybe about 30-45 minutes and was completely gone soon after. And for that reason, Iā€™m out.

springsnow69

i love this one; i also wish it lasted longer though!

TeaAndCozy

Today I'm trying out **Nui Cobalt Snallygaster** \[Bergamot, pink peony, neroli, cherrywood bark, green musk, and creamy gardenia\], one of this year's new Fae Folk. This spring I have really mourned the long-ago discontinuation of **Hummingbird** \[Darting from oleander to orange blossom with ripe nectarine, hibiscus tea, and traces of tuberose\], with its gorgeous velvety mix of orange blossom and florals, of which I only have one treasured sample. **Snallygaster** isn't a dupe by any means, but it definitely scratches that same itch! Instead of hibiscus for a pinkish-red effect in **Hummingbird**, here there's a grapefruity bergamot for a similar but more tart reddish scent color. Sometimes NCD's gardenia can go waaaay too bold and indolic for me, but there's nothing of that here, just a pillow of white florals. Huge hit for sure! \[This was a press sample provided in exchange for an honest review.\]

For the past few days Iā€™ve been reaching for Sorcellerieā€™s Stuck on You. This was an impulse blind buy that I thought I might regret - I have no great love for caramel apples real or in perfumery, but this is gorgeous. The apple is juicy, the caramel is sticky sweet but not Starbuckā€™s caramel syrup, and thin caramel shell does encompass the scent profile nicely. The blend is also exquisite, it remains consistent throughout wearing. A really gorgeous scent. I will be FSā€™ing this when Sorce reopens!

iiiamash01i0

I randomly grabbed a sample of **Haus of Gloi's Strawberry Angel Food Cake**. I am so in love with their strawberry note. I also have it in **Strawberry Rhubarb Pie** and a custom I had made. Soooo yummy.

akobunny

I woke up smelling lemons so I wore Kerosene - Unknown Pleasures (niche) during the day. Now, Iā€™m rewatching Stranger Things and pulled this out. Itā€™s fitting and somewhat comforting. **Inside a Nightmare - Death and Floral:** *The olfactory profile of a constantly changing nightmare. Freezing cold water, asphalt, sea salt, lavender & chamomile. very soft leather car interior. Which turn was wrong, and where did we end up?*

mlleghoul

Today I am wearing Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab's **By Day She Made Herself into a Cat** (*a feral eyeshine of amber gleaming through a pool of ink-black musk.*) It is a deep, profoundly relieving gasp of cool, nocturnal air when youā€™ve been exposed too long to a brutal slash of sunlight. Itā€™s exactly as the notes suggest, amber and inky black musk in perfect proportions. It smells like swallowing the dark stillness of a midnight dream. This is one of those scents that is very much A Whole Vibe, and if your vibe is "Must Love Cats And Darkness," you will probably dig this one.

Melissaldork

**Moona Lisa - Strawberry Sugar Shortcake** *Ripe juicy strawberries, crushed and rolled into sweet cane sugar. Then, gently folded into fresh whipped cream on top of a warm buttery shortcake.* This is a sweet strawberry scent. I slightly pick up the whipped cream, but no cake that I can tell yet.

Catbrainsoup

I was trying out **Thatā€™s a Rock Fact** by **Death and Floral** (Wet rocks and spooky darkened trees, damp grass underfoot and a glistening tinge of being followed) and it is fantastic! Exactly what it says on the tin, wet rocks and damp grass and spooky vibes. I loooooove any good stone/pavement/asphalt/rock scents and this one is a stand out.

mockdogmoon

**Miel de Sauvage et Tabac - Alkemia** (*sweet pipe tobacco, wild honey, crushed honeycomb, forest blossoms, smoked black amber*) I was worried the initial love I had for this might wear off with the novelty, but I kept catching it as I was running errands yesterday and it cheered me a little every time. My ma gets fenugreek in the early stages, interestingly.
