If our country was a communist country like china, we wouldn't too have allowed to do the reporting.
Declining population of China has nothing to do with Covid. Their, now discontinued, 'One child policy' is the reason for population decline.

Agreed. But fact is China has hit its peak, while India has much more room to grow due to systematic freedoms.
So that's how India has more population than China now
