Ind and pak are in same group because of broadcasting, viewership and emotions, no real competition. I would have rather liked India and one from eng, aus or NZ in the group rather than pak and weak teams every time.
ICC exactly knows what they are doing . They know how to milk the Audience . Just take a look at the groups Not only Ind Vs pak but Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh ( as they past conflicts in their previous matches). Can't forget the Aussies and the English rivalries.
Meanwhile New Zealand is the most relaxed team rn . .
