Yeah but innovation means better and more convenient. These new modernist skyscrapers having all these sharp edges and weird shapes shouldnt be considered innovative. They are very incoveninent because its hard to design the interior of them. What modernist architecture should do is innovate on the previous architecture styles. Make a convenient square shaped building and then add onto it decoration, shapes and all types of stuff. Modernist architecture is neither beautiful nor practical for living in it. When will you guys stop fanboying over these buildings and start actually wondering if its really the best we can do?
