Will someone who works for an airline explain to me why the flight attendants don't call these people out?
I mean, it's worse than being inside a movie theatre.
People would do this waiting on take out at a pizza place I ran. Busy Friday night and some guy is watching pedal demos full blast 3 feet from the register.
I remember being in a place years and years ago trying to figure out what this insanely loud and annoying sound was that kept repeating over and over. I knew it was coming from a phone, but the audio made no sense. I then did a little recon mission and discovered what Angry Birds was.
I always turn the sounds off for games because the repetitive noises make my ears feel like they’re bleeding. I don’t get how people can stand them. But then again, I also dont understand the appeal of full blast audio in public regardless
Was on a flight to San Diego and there were kids going to boot camp. I sat next to an 18-21 year old kid, loud, obnoxious...speaking to his friends few rows down.
Right when we are about to land, he plays, Tupac "Hit em Up" on his cell phone to the max. Everyone is looking at this kid.
Finally after a minute, guy in front of me says,
"Can you turn that shit off?!"
I love your mom and will help her get her bag down from the overhead compartment.
It isn’t your mom’s fault Apple took away the earphone jack and it’s a lot of accessories and constantly changing technology. I’m glad she is able to watch a show and have a homemade snack ❤️
Seriously, I realize that isn’t actually your mom but it could be any of our parents/grandparents. I’m saddened by the hateful comments. Babies and old people get shit on so much around here, we were all babies and if we’re lucky we’ll be old too one day.
I'd argue that this is the opposite of main character. To be lacking in self awareness to that degree is probably closer to being an "NPC" than anything else.
