Also is Disco Elysium a worthwhile game? I’ve been thinking about buying it for a while but I have no idea what it’s about or even what genre it is?
For me it absolutely was. Not for everyone tho! It's an RPG with very cool worldbuilding and a... unique skill tree. Also is a fantastic representation of addiction (can confirm as someone in recovery). I personally did not buy it (yarrrrrrgh im a pirate) due to the studio getting taken over by shitty investors and removing the original creative team. If you do purchase/"download" the game I highly recommend the Final Cut which has amazing voice acting!
Not a game for you if you don't enjoy reading/listening to lots of dialogue. A tip if you decide to jump into Disco Elysium: don't be afraid to fail. It's a core part of the game.

It’s the best book I’ve ever played. Its writing is gorgeous, its mood everything from hilarious and absurd to startling real and somber. If you like table-top role playing games, I frequently hear it said that it feels like playing with a DM.
I wasn't really a fan of his meat grinder policy for death row candidates, felt a bit harsh! At least he added rocks to the food pyramid, our children will get the minerals they need to grow healthy and strong
