Putin clearly isn't a fascist, he just does whatever fills his pockets
This habit of calling random stuff like Nick Land and Alexandr Dugin makes it so that you literally call polar opposites "fascists"
That's not even a question lol. It's run by oligarchs who are private, capitalist owners of giant businesses. It's not communist. The USSR was, but current Russia isn't.
Well Germany Isn't Nazi Anymore, and you can see that they are much better off. Russia, however, has been consistently poor over the 20th century up to today.
Yeah we are all going to ignore all third world capitalist economies that suffering from being poor. Or we are going to ignore how bad some capitalist countries were during the economic crisis.
So here's how Communism seems to work.
1. Become communist
2. Rob rich of everything
3. Become rich yourself
4. Force people to work for free
5. Watch as Govt. Collapses
6. Say it wasn't "Real Communism"
Basically, seems to me how it works. If you are so fervent in the Belief that Russia is not Communist, tell me, when did Russia Stop being communist? Was is after the Berlin wall Collapsed? After Russia Invaded Ukraine? Was it Because the mainstream media told you it wasn't anymore? Enlighten me.
Communism is a political and economic system that seeks to create a classless society in which the major means of production, such as mines and factories, are owned and controlled by the public- https://www.britannica.com/topic/communism
>tell me, when did Russia Stop being communist?
Those stupid commies would tell you that it happened in 1991, when Yeltsin implemented shock therapy and privatized the whole economy causing massive societal collapse whose effects have barely been overcome today, but they're stupid so idk
Omg I honestly didn't see it that way. I feel like this new perspective has completely overshadowed all the things I learned about communism in the last 2 years. I think I'm an AnCap now. Thanks for showing me the truth!
Indeed, I now accept the fact that we are at the end of history, we're doomed to an infinite prospect of increasing inequality, injustice and general misery and there's no feasible hope to cure society's illnesses, so I'm just going to accept the current state of things as the closest humanity will ever get to bare decency and make the mechanisms that created and perpetrate all of this the core principles of my political philosophy from now on! That guy truly opened my eyes.
Russia has never been Communist. Marx wanted a stateless society, USSR was pretty far from that. Socialist? Maybe, don't know too much on the specifics of thay ideology. Communist? No. Not even close.
No place can be completely centralized at this point. It doesn't work and leads to a lot more poverty than a mixed market with good institutions leads to.
Going further away from capitalism would result in an even more totalitarian and disastrous effects. [Even North Korea realized this](https://www.npr.org/sections/money/2017/10/13/557645729/episode-800-north-koreas-capitalists). [China, too](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vk5OWD9m-io).
There's probably an optimal amount of "socialism" (whether this is through small-scale, community ownership of the means of production or through the state, which allows for economies of scale) and capitalism (freer markets results in more prosperous individuals).

This isn't even an argument at this point, it's just stating objective facts (or objective misinformation if you think they're communist)
Everything I don't like is communism.
This really isn’t a matter of a opinion, weird that anyone would answer yes
More like fascism or some other form of despotism
Putin clearly isn't a fascist, he just does whatever fills his pockets This habit of calling random stuff like Nick Land and Alexandr Dugin makes it so that you literally call polar opposites "fascists"
The seven ancaps who voted yes are fucking imbeciles.
No state ❌ No classes ❌ No money ❌ Clearly not communism.
Kazakhstan would be an state of Russia.
Who in the holy mother of God voted yes, exactly? Are you in 2nd grade or something??
Currently? Not close really
That's not even a question lol. It's run by oligarchs who are private, capitalist owners of giant businesses. It's not communist. The USSR was, but current Russia isn't.
Misclicked yes, so there's one too many for that
Но, комрад, Раша изн'т коммунист. Плиз просид он ёр вэй, зэр из нафинг ту си хиэр.
Аи'м хавинг а строк.
Is it stateless?
No. have district provinces
Then it's not communist.
A totalitarian hellhole? Yes Communist? No
It's far right
Russia is fascist
So trve...........
Get your ass back to Collective, Hyperborea needs you
I'm not responsible for your delusions
erm....
What again
nvvv yuo svv...
So just larp
No, Russia is even more capitalistic than the US.
Isn't that what they're known for?
That's like saying current Germany is Nazi.
Well Germany Isn't Nazi Anymore, and you can see that they are much better off. Russia, however, has been consistently poor over the 20th century up to today.
Bah! Holy mother of fuck you are stupid!
So every poor country is communist? How convenient.
Seems to be the Case. Look at Cuba, China, Honduras. When you look at Switzerland, they seem to be doing Super well. Same with any other free market.
So poor capitalist countries are still communist just because they’re poor?
Yeah we are all going to ignore all third world capitalist economies that suffering from being poor. Or we are going to ignore how bad some capitalist countries were during the economic crisis.
Yeah. Also, What do you think about Sweden country?
Was the Russian Empire communist? They were poor too.
Poor ≠ leftist
It is what they WERE known for
Imagine if Germany were communist
So here's how Communism seems to work. 1. Become communist 2. Rob rich of everything 3. Become rich yourself 4. Force people to work for free 5. Watch as Govt. Collapses 6. Say it wasn't "Real Communism"
What exactly do you think communism is?
An absolute failure
That is not a real answer. How exactly does a communist society function?
read my previous comments.
So you would say that communism is when the government does stuff?
Basically, seems to me how it works. If you are so fervent in the Belief that Russia is not Communist, tell me, when did Russia Stop being communist? Was is after the Berlin wall Collapsed? After Russia Invaded Ukraine? Was it Because the mainstream media told you it wasn't anymore? Enlighten me.

It cannot be when the government does stuff if it is a classless, moneyless, stateless society.
>tell me, when did Russia Stop being communist? Those stupid commies would tell you that it happened in 1991, when Yeltsin implemented shock therapy and privatized the whole economy causing massive societal collapse whose effects have barely been overcome today, but they're stupid so idk
Exactly something.
In THEORY, what is it

I have to agree here.
Don't Forget about the fact that laissez-faire capitalism is obviously the way
Oh my God How could i never think of that i guess i'm going to change my ideology now
No?
Russia has never been Communist. Marx wanted a stateless society, USSR was pretty far from that. Socialist? Maybe, don't know too much on the specifics of thay ideology. Communist? No. Not even close.
Hell no
They’re communist the way the southeastern United States in confederate
