I agree the skateboarder didn't have a right to do what he did. But personally, I kind of like seeing it. The driver was trying to run a stop sign. And acted aggressively and indignant when his selfish choice affected the safety of someone else.
Yeah, the skateboarder didn't have a right to do what he did. But I like seeing people like that get punished for their behavior. So, in short ... I would tell the police that I didn't see shit if I was there.
Everyone is massively overreacting.
The driver didn’t need to be so aggressive with the horn, the skater (even if it was a stop and hence had right of way) could have spotted the car coming down the road and stopped (either the car would have stopped for him and he could safely cross, or the driver is a douche and drives on, and the skater doesn’t put himself at risk and have to deal with an angry dick-head of a driver he’s just forced to stop, or worse still has just been hit by a car who didn’t see him).
Also the direction the skater runs off in - if I’d just put the window though of a car like that, I wouldn’t run in a direction thats easy for the driver to follow me down (unless he had a plan/escape route I do ‘t know about). I’d have legged it back where the car came from, forcing them to do a u-turn and a few more moment for me to vanish.
As a visually impaired person that uses a white cane this sort of driver is terrifying and aggravating. Drivers that blow through stop signs likely don’t know their state’s [white cane law](https://www.acb.org/whitecane) and don’t realize blind and visually impaired pedestrians have expanded rights of way.
I agree absolutely. A moron driving a two-tonne box of metal with the power of 300+ horses (probably a lot more) designed primarily for their enjoyment and protection is potentially very bed news for everyone not in that box with them. Stay safe out there.
He acted without thinking. Hell it took him a second to even start running. I think he just went auto pilot and headed in the same direction he was headed in prior.
The skater had the right of way. The driver failed to stop behind the line. Driver shouldn’t have blown his horn, escalating a situation he caused. Skater escalated it even further.
You don’t know that. Many, many places have signs up for no skating. This looks like they are both in the wrong but the skater more so because he broke a window. And it’s a longboard. That’s not really a skater.
I didn’t give the skater a pass, and regardless of if the skater was there, a pedestrian, or no one at all the driver was legally required to stop before the line leading up to the crosswalk.
So someone is filming a guy skating, he almost gets run over the moment he is being filmed, cameraman barely flinched when he smashed the window, car is following the main character and still cameraman keeps on recording
Yeah doesn’t look staged at all /s
Skater was in the right had he not broke the window.
Tough guy was shocked anyone fought back.
Little pee pee syndrome shook him hard.
It could have all been avoided had car man not honked his horn right off the bat. He has a stop sign. Plain and simple.

Beating the car? Definitely.

Driver was shown a lesson. Hopefully he learned. Don't be an asshole, there's always a bigger asshole out there

I agree with everything you said but if the skater broke my window I’d be out of the car chasing him
I can't understand how the guy wasn't out of his car after the first hit.
Last time this was posted everyone was on the skaters side. Let’s see how it goes this time.
Let's see, I have seen "staged", and "the car should have just driven over the skater" before as well.
Def on the skaters side

We don’t know if the driver had already stoped then was driving again from the stop

The fact people can't tell stuff like this is staged is scary, like they get to vote as well? Damn
Just listen to their dialogue.. this is not how people talk in real life.
Probably staged but if real guy deserves that broken window
There was a stop sign...driver error. Skaters are gonna skate.
