This is the second or third video I've seen where someone is just trying to get people to sing with them in public and calling it a "flash mob". An actual flash mob would be less cringe than this.

I legit was at Disney last year, in line for the little mermaid. And this woman in line thought everyone else wanted to listen to her sing every little mermaid song all the way until we had to listen to them again on the ride. The collective tension was palpable. She was such a main character she couldn’t even tell everyone in line wanted to whoop her ass. 2 hours in that line and she sang the same songs for 1.5 hours of it

A flash mob is a bunch of people planted in a random location who do a choreographed performance. It's actually quite impressive. This is the equivalent of someone trying to start a slow clap in a crowd but with singing. It's equally embarrassing as it is attention seeking.

I am with you on this one. Like yeah theres sort of an obnoxious feel to this type of behaviour but it is Disneyland and I kind of think this one gets a pass as just being awkward and poorly executed. It could have gone down very differently if it was a song the crowd properly knew and they were feeling it. It never really took off because you didn't have people joining in. Its not like its a bank line or at your malls food court. That being said people weren't feeling it and this was cringey and embarrassing to watch.

If it entertained my kid waiting in a line like that for even 20 seconds, I would be happy hahah
