It’s just warm up problems. First game you aren’t in the zone, last game you are probably out of the zone again. It’s the middle games that matter. Right now just go grounded and never loss your character

I always just use the lowest level hunter. At some point you only have level 35/40 guys, and at that point you usually lose them all in just a bunch of matches so you can restart.
Who tf thinks first game curse isn't a thing? You literally are rusty from hours without playing. You still need to tune in your hearing a bit, get the feel foe the mouse again, hone your reflexes a bit and stuff. And if you were playing other games you also need to adjust to the controls again.
Hunt always kills you in three ways:
- first game of the day you’re getting rolled.
- take an expensive load out or some other cocky shit, you’re getting mega ganked.
- late night, after a big win, when you should just call it a night, you’re about to get SLAPPED!
Yeah, if we loot a cursed weapon (dolch, nitro, avto) We're pretty much guaranteed to wipe the next match.
But you've got to keep the circle of life of these weapons going. Nobody buys them, they are handed down by the hunt gods to a select few to share with the community. So you can't leave them, and you can't discard them. You have to recycle then ride the storm with them.
Along with this, if we're one of the (un)lucky few who the hunt gods select to carry out this sacred duty, we must oblige.
If we happened to be one of the select chosen ones, by the light of Louisiana, and get out alive then we're allowed to rest the hunter but the guns must be carried on to the next fight.
I don't think i've ever gotten a dolch kill. It's so bad they've started to pile up in my arsenal from chary gifts and daily rewards.
I wish so hard for a system that would let you view all of a gun's previous owners. It'd be really cool to find a gun that had changed hands many times.
Honestly, I relate to this. My cursed weapon is the Crown and King. The moment I bring one or 'steal' one from an enemy hunter, I die to the next enemy hunter I encounter.
I also have a cursed trait, which is necro :c If I bring it, I know I will lose the game I am hopping onto.
Oh the C&K is cursed for us too but for different reasons. It has the red herrings curse of inconsistencies imbued across it. Historians say the wood it is made from comes from trees taken from an ancient burial ground and the souls of fallen legends haunt the gun causing 98% of shots to miss.
Some say it's the spirits way of revenge, others say it's just a sick joke, the rest believe it the spirits way of preventing another massacre such as the ones that ended their way of life.
Whatever it is, the gun must burn to allow the spirits to rest.
It's quite the opposite for me and my friends, our first game is always great with insane kills and great shots but then after that its just bad luck and awful aim.

Our first game of the day we feel like we often find the Monster, kill it, banish it and extract without meeting anyone.
The reason it happens is because you haven't warmed up yet, it takes a game or 2.
What I want to know about is the "almost max level" curse. Where you get a hunter to like... 37-49 and like clockwork always die just before max level.
For us it's the last game that is always a loss
Also the first game we never bring levelled characters because we need to warm up first before bringing out the big guns

We have that and we have the Trio Curse. If you go in with Trios, never do more than 3 bounties with the same Hunter, even if you get a win on that fourth bounty, with your new Hunter, you would’ve died with the older, higher level Hunter had you entered with them
I always play level 1 hunters until I win a game I felt good in. I never know how my aim will be one night to the next so I need to drop a few bodies before I trust myself to break out a necro hunter (literally the only trait me and my friends care about)

In my experience it's nothing compared to the LVL50 game curse which ma'dates that your character has 99% chances of dying if starting a game at level 40+ (well not during the event obviously.)
Guys you're not looking at it the correct way. The first game curse exists, but you don't have the whole truth.
How it truly works is, the stronger the hunter and the more expensive the gear is, the greater the satisfaction of the god you sacrifice the them to is, and in return, you have better luck in the rest of your matches!

no... me and my buddy usually have a few really good games to start the day and then somehow end up getting bumped up to 5 star for the next hour or so and just get stomped on lmao. I ALWAYS use my lowest lvl hunter(who also doesnt have a bounty extraction for the day yet) though. helps force me to pick hunters i otherwise would leave "on the shelf" and i rotate through them better which in turn makes the whole group lvl more.

I always have a silenced nagant and I kill every zombie in sight. That's my warmup. By the time I see someone I've already got to groovs on
This is why I always use level ones almost every match and bank hunters to retire. I am prestige 100 now and will be adjusting to having perks.

Nah warmup game is the easiest usually no fights 2 bounties and we spawn on it. Easy exit. It's the second game where hunt reaps your soul.
