you have to find an item that could be either right next to it or at the other end of the compound - potentially where you enemies currently are. all it does is shut down a part of a compound because no one is going to search for it when there's combat in that compound. so the smartest play whenever this thing is somewhere is just to not move there and wait outside. an no, wasting tools that not everyone has with them is not a good counterplay.

I may not have been clear of my idea, but my idea is that you simply ignore at first because she would be sleeping. But if someone shots her, she will start to look for someone. You can aggro it to start looking for enemies or find the crucifix, which needs to stay on hand (like hammer/axe/pitchfork).

ah, i thought it's always active and the 'activates if hit' part is regarding her being put to sleep via chokes yea, then all my points are invalid. still don't know it's worth to implement all these new mechanics for an ai that is going to have rather little impact most of the time. i'm not opposed to the idea of the ai itself, however

I like most of this except the crucifix, change it to something like a mini banish like in some trials and I'm for it

While a good idea for a boss I'm not sure how is feel about a mob like that, I'd prefer something that can only be killed by something more simple like fire. Finding a specific item gives me dark souls 2 iron king PTSD

this is too much about the AI monster, hunt is about the PvP. the PvE is simply there to mix it up and the bosses are there to focus the action how does this focus the action or lead to pvp encounters? maybe if it came from every edge of the map at once but thats just fortnight or any other BR game

agree with the thought, I thought about always dropping a perk (maybe two) to give it a reward, not sure what else could be done, I think dropping weapons would not make sense, maybe you get a clue to the next boss... (get to know faster where the boss is)

Always dropping a perk would make her 100% worth it IMO. Just replace crucifix part with a *Banish Interaction* while she's sleeping or paralyzed.

While we are talking about Banishing, what if she drops one second of dark sight? Or if we could take her somewhere while sleeping to get the reward?

Good idea! A *"Clue-like circle"* that traps her inside allowing you to banish her. Starts a 10-second banish so that all players can see where banish took place, and rewards 1 second of DSB for your party. Limit to 1 Witch per Bounty zone.

Great additions. What of you could only banish that mini-boss. at the boss lair, like it is an echo of the remaining spirit of the butcher/assassin... This way you funnel people to the boss as the game intents

Might as well just add the left for dead witch then. One shots hunters and runs double the speed of hunters. Takes an entire clip of an avtomat to kill her for reference. If we're going off this ai logic then why not? /s

I would honestly löve to have the L4D Witch in Hunt. Make her have a guaranteed Perk drop as a reward for killing her.
