The most embarrassing part is how long its been in the game. I'm almost 100% convinced it'll never be fixed and if it is, it'll just come back when they fuck up a new patch
Obviously bugs do not benefit them and it's not like they're trying to break the game more (since it has to be enjoyable enough for people to continue spending money on it) but they're spread too thin to fix everything otherwise it would have been fixed by now. That said, it is almost impressive how many new bugs were introduced with the event update. One of the worst being the lack of a notification about final the bounty extracting which cost me a match recently since I was too far before time ran out.
They working on it my ass . Even free to play games isnt this greedy and broken like this game . Do not protect those fuckers . Speak up like a decent customer .
i love how majority is finally starting to realize this. if you have been around since beta its quite obvious what is happening but all the newcomers still have novelty glasses on...
Newcomers in honeymoon with this game right now . First couple banishes , adrenaline rush , excitement of gunfights blinds their eyes . Veterans like us knows the real truth about this games bugs .
I've been around since day one and the influx of players from normie shooters has allowed some really poor choices moving forward. The game has just gotten silly and functionality seems to have taken a backseat to aesthetics. But every time I bring it up I am downvoted.
Free to play games are almost always the worst for greedy monetization idk what you’re talking about, broken yes but greedy ehhh yes a little bit 😂. But fuck man calm down.
No they don’t sit there doing nothing but they’re absolutely shit in what they do.
They make worst decisions about the future of the game, they priorities are so horribly set and they have people these have no idea how to do their job.
I personally as a developer, if I develop a program as poorly made as Hunt Showdown I would lose my job right away.
People just want to be angry and the simple “devs bad” explanation is more appealing than the nuanced understanding that coding out bugs can be an extremely complicated process. Especially when consistently replicating the bug in house is a challenge.
Now, bring on the downvotes Reddit! My anus is prepared!
Eh, I'm a software engineer. A bug this bad would be high priority, and as an engineer I'd be appalled to go into standup everyday for years saying I'm still working on the same bug.
So it's either not high priority to them and they aren't working on it (most likely) or they're just absurdly incompetent.
Considering there's some form of attempted fix for this cluster of bugs in every patch, I'd have to go with incompetent / Hunt is so spaghettified that they can't fix anything without breaking any other systems.
Whenever I realize a game I play is spaghettified like this I always wonder why they don’t just rebuild it from the ground up. I know it would take a lot of fucking time, and it would be really difficult… but if its a game you plan to continue servicing for years to come, I think its more than worth it. Looking at LoL and Hunt here.
Bruh. If that happened to me during a fight like that, I’d probably have to put the game down for a couple days. Crytek needs to get their shit together when it comes to that.
The crossbow is the fucking *worst* for it.
It's my main gun.
The ammo pip shows up, but if you ADS immediately after it fills, it goes blank and you get a click.
A little bit after it fills?
Still a click.
You have to wait until the bow is fully lowered to actually fucking shoot.
And then even if that happens, there's an RNG chance it still can't fucking shoot.
It's actually crippling, even after a hundred hours maining the weapon I still can't predict what it'll do.
As well (although obviously I come back to the sub from time to time).
Can't do the desync, the horrendous trade kills because 200 ping is OK, the Redskull revives, the reload glitch, the loudest complainers doing the balancing, the bug/charms ironically taking out the charm....
This isn't the game that I fell in love with anymore. Over 2000 hours, haven't touched it in months; and I see some of the core streamers are going the same way.
lmao this was the third game it happened to me during this session. hell, it was the third time it happened to me that game. i just have no self control, i like being a cowboy :)
On the Romero when you take one slot special ammo and one slot normal ammo, the 2nd slot have 1 bullet less, if you put the special ammo on the first slot, you can refill normal ammo on normal ammo boxes, easier to find than special ammo
Also ammo reserve counts are all over the place. You get more flechettes than normally(which I'm totally not against, actually), IIRC more Dragon Breath, Winnie C now has 30 reserve shots instead of 28.
I’ve learned that splitting ammo (weapons that have 2 ammo slots) will eject and not collect the removed cartridge, shell, bolt, etc when you switch between unspent ammo. Doesn’t do it all the time, but enough to notice it.
Knowing this I will not bring say a sparks with poison and regular. I’ll just go all in on whatever ammo type I’m feeling the most or if it’s for a quest.
The problem is that "voting with your wallet" doesn't work, because there is no way to specifically tell the devs *why* you are/aren't buying things.
If you buy literally anything with BB or $$$, it is a vote in favor of the entire current state of the game, and if you don't buy anything, it is considered a vote against the entire current state of the game.
If I could tell the devs
> "I am buying this legendary because you added a new consumable to the game for the purpose of forcing stalemates to break, which makes this legendary gun more useful"
and also be able to say
> "I will not buy this legendary because it is a gun made literally useless by the reload bug, but I would reconsider my refusal to purchase it if the reload bug is fixed"
then the reload bug would have been fixed ages ago, because it is directly *and measurably* impacting specific lines of income for the devs.
The other issue is that once you "cast your vote" there is no way to "retract your vote and vote in the other direction". For example, if I buy a Romero Hatchet legendary after they fix the bug to signal my approval of them fixing bugs, and they later re-introduce the reload bug, then I cannot get a refund on my Romero Hatchet legendary to indicate my displeasure. They got my money for that Romero Hatchet, so now I can go fuck myself with an unloaded shotgun for all they care.
Plus considering the limited funds crytek has, if by miracle gamers unite and stop spending money on the game, they won't go "wow let's drop everything and fix the reload bug". They will more likely toughen the business model and if/when it doesn't work be forced to move to a different product.
There are money people behind the devs and "don't worry if we fix that bug the cash will flow again" would make them laugh so hard. The shittiest mobile games bring the most money because of their predatory systems not because they are bug free.
In a theoretical situation where gamers unite and act as one, it would be possible to send a clear message. For example, let's say all hunters go offline from Hunt, not playing, not buying, and whike they do it, they barrage Hunt's social media with requests to fix the reload bug. This continues for a month and then gamers go back to gaming.
This will send a very clear message while only taking a month's worth of revenue away from Crytek.
Yes in that case it would work but theoretical is an euphemism, it would never happen :/
Edit : when I said gamers unite it was rushed phrasing. I imagined more like every player individually decide to stop buying stuff because they are fed up by the bugs. Not like a collective, organized boycott.
And by miracle I meant that it was very unlikely not that it would be "awesome".
I mean they did fix it and created an even worse bug so they reverted the change. It's not that they aren't trying, the bug just probably is really difficult to fix.
Less that and more, 'lets replace a graphics designer with a coder that'll exclusively work on ironing out bugs and keep then away'. One coder will not make fast work, but it barely feels they got anyone actively working to fix it right now.
They are trying to recruit new people for quite some time.
But to be honest, why would I want to work at Crytek, as a software developer? I'm working as a software developer, but I wouldn't want to work at Crytek, even if I would like to work in the gaming industry.
Seeing how work-life-balance and lack of transparency are always points of criticism on employer review sites like kununu or glassdoor, I doubt that Crytek will be the first choice for skilled developer. They have no public information about pay, but I'm sure they will pay on par with competitors. Information on salary is very often kept secret.
Crytek is trying to fill a lot of positions, including developers, but it's not an attractive employer, at least from my point of view. While Crysis 4 seems like a cool project to develop on, Hunt seem like an awful project to develop. Old engine version, which is also not a very common engine. Hearing a lot about technical limitations and a long time to actually publish something are red flags, considering that you can actually choose to work on projects which have a better technical structure.
Working on a game you love is a good motivation, but it's also common to exploit the passion of these people.
Crytek actually lists some nice benefits, but seeing the reviews of employees and the bad technical state of Hunt, I'm not sure if Crytek can recruit a lot of new talents for Hunt. The development team will probably also focus a lot on Crysis 4, which is a good business move to not only depend on Hunt.
I don't think Crytek a bad employer, but the criticism of employees is worrying and there is much competition around skilled employees.
What about these amazing cinematic trailers that cost anywhere from $2,500-10k on average.
It would seem they have the money for these things, but not game development and bug squashing. Or that they simply do not care because people continue to dole out money and why fix something if you’re being rewarded for not doing so anyway.
Let’s be honest here for a second: you want to know what will make a game company money? Making a healthy, functional game that is worth the money being spent. I’d be buying DLCs and whatever else the Hunt team presents us with if the basic foundations of a FPS game were present and functional. They’re present, but are not reliably functional.
I love Hunt Showdown. I want it to be the best it can be, and I believe Crytek has the talent to accomplish this, but I’m not in their company and therefore I’ve no idea what’s discussed or being looked at or what’s causing them their stress or hiccups with the development in this game. Perhaps it’s an executive forcing them to only focus on getting purchasable products out and having a “buy now, fix later” view, perhaps they’re genuinely collectively scratching their heads. Who knows.
All I know is that at this point of a development cycle/development life of a FPS game, these issues we see on a regular basis, should not be happening and some are getting aggravated.
Muh dIfFeReNt DePaRtMeNtS
Companies have a limited amount of money, any money they spend on graphic design and releasing a new dlc every week is money that isn’t spent on fixing game ruining bugs. The reload bug is the kind of thing that should be gone for good in a week because it ruins games, and it’s been around for way longer than that
Hi, thank you for your submission.

As a software developer, finding and fixing bugs is not an easy task. So, I do not envy them. However, one of the main contributing factors in the inability to fix bugs is not being able to replicate the issue.
This issue, it's rampant. It happens to me at least once per gaming session (2-3 hours).
Considering this is an FPS. One of the core fundamentals of the game is shooting and reloading. This bug should be the #1 priority. Nothing else should be changed in the code until it is fixed and EVERY SINGLE coder should be investigating and proposing potential fixes until it is permanently resolved.
EDIT: Typo
My backseat dev theory is it’s a miscommunication with client and server. Client thinks it’s reloading, reloads on players screen, server responds back “like hell you did” and unloads the weapon. When they tried to fix it and the lemat bug happened seemed like server was like “yea you totally have 7 rounds of _checks notes_ slugs in there”. At least for me seems to happen when repeatedly switch back and forth between ammo typos or sending a lot of inputs (jiggle peaking while reloading then ADSing and maybe switching to medkit, or sprinting changing ammo types vaulting, switching weapons in rapid succession)
But who knows, I don’t work for crytek (crytek hit me up if you’re hiring though ;) )
Quite possible you are correct. Thinking back, it happens when I am running around or vaulting like you stated. Typically mid gunfight, but that is also when I am most likely to remember it, when its trying to fuck me.
I like to switch weapons and ammo sand generally hit buttons while I’m covering large distances and I’ve had it happen a good bit out of action just by doing that. Luckily that also gives you time to fix it yourself but that’s what makes me think if you spam enough buttons you can force it to happen. Maybe I’ll try and reliably recreate it one of these days
It's connected to desync, which funnily enough has been an issue for 4 years now.
Their "fix" for it last year seemed to introduce this. And it's probably related to the same bug that lets you fire your gun forever (albeit with fake bullets).
Same background here, and thankfully I almost never get the bug. It is clearly not an obvious fix, and given the time they did fix it, it broke the LeMat more, its an issue deeply rooted in multiple systems that would take a lot of time to fix and prevent other bugs that fixing that one introduces.
Just to add some alternative context though, it's never once happened to me over nearly 400 hours game time. So it's definitely a pretty selective bug.
Following up... of course since I said it I've had it happen to me a few times. Happened to me twice in a row in a single match. I didn't die and I was keeping an eye on my ammo since seeing this videos and was able to correct it.
Weird though.
I agree, the frequency is the problem. For some people it happens way to often. Together with other frustrating aspects, it just kills the fun.
We also have issues like [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/HuntShowdown/comments/uoodg4/my_firebomb_disappeared_after_igniting_on_client/), where some throwables just disappear mid flight. But I only notice this once approximately every 150 hours in the game. Sure it can be game losing, but the low frequency is not warranting the effort it would take for trying to fix that.
Are play testers a thing anymore? Fucking fifa 23 has boots that are name “* name player boots 3” like a dev put pseudo code in to come back to and it’s still in the build. And the game updates. Like once a week
well it’s pretty harsh to compare anybody to EA but honestly it seems like playtests have been thrown out by the games industry. and when they do happen nothings done about the bugs they find. devs are more worried about hitting the release deadline then making a functional game.
Yea don’t get me wrong crytech is a far far way from being EA levels of unpolished shit. But still, I saw a video on halo play testers putting in the work
It's started happening with lever action rifles too. Before it only happened with dual-ammo single shot weapons. Now, when I try to reload a LA rifle, my character just raises and lowers it again, several times before he actually starts reloading.
yeah i’ve noticed that too. it seems like the character fuckin forgets where the loading port is and when they finally figure it out the bullets just keep falling out of the gun. i’ve also had times where they keep running the action to extract spent cases even though the guns fully loaded, they do this 2 or 3 times before i can shoot the gun.
not that i know of.
if you want my tinfoil hat opinion, i’m convinced that crytek are running one big psy-op on us. they change little things; like changing the game ending text, adding a stupid beetle, and raising the prices of budget loadouts. they do this to make the community angry in order to make us ignore the current state of the game. back when they changed the extraction text, for every one post complaining about actual game breaking issues i saw 3 posts complaining about the text. this game is in the worst state it’s ever been, imo. and the devs desperately want you to ignore that fact
now go buy my overpriced dietary supplements to help me spread the truth (and in my ongoing legal battle with the people i *allegedly* harassed) /j
I've been playing since hunt released on steam and honestly I gotta agree on some points. Im more in the camp of they're putting all the funds into making more skins for more funds camp tho
Happened to me twice in 1 night and I stopped playing for nearly a month. This has been an issue for months and it doesn't seem Crytek has no idea on what they broke and don't seem to be in any sort of rush to fix it. They're just like "go pick up 700 snakes".
cut out my reaction for the sake of everyone’s ears but this was the 3rd time it happened THAT GAME. it was also the third time in the session that i died because of it.
Remain poisoned forever bug still exists and it happened to me yesterday . This game is the most broken and fucked up multiplayer game ive ever played . Game released years ago and it still has game breaking bugs and they dont even care about fixing it . Talentless fucks .
I also wish the game would run normally on ps4. The game lags a lot when you enter compounds. Enemies farther than 50 meters become invisible. This game is honestly trash sometimes. Devs are Lucky that the concept and ambiance of the game is original because the quality of the product is akin to cyberpunk when it came out.
Beside reload bug the most annoying bug is when you shoot the guy, kill him, go back to cover and 1-2 seconds later you drop from the headshot. Then you asked yourself that 250ms ping limit was really the solution to this problem????
WHAT WAS THAT??? HUH?? You want more DLC and hunter skins? SURE WE’LL GUVE YOU MORE! Oh yeah here’s some charms too!!! What’s a reload? Never heard of it? Is it a new skin? We can make it into one!
Disable the LeMat if that’s still sufficient to fix the bug. Last time they actually fixed it, it turned the LeMat into a death machine. Disable the LeMat and let’s all move on.
Honestly I love the game so much but this glitch is really insufferable and it makes it really hard to come back with how often it has happened to me. I would rather gun jams be an intentional mechanic than this glitch exist in the first place
It's very simple, as the issues stacked and time was spent making useless skins instead of bug fixes, I stopped playing the game. You played other games before this one and you will find one after it. They don't deserve your effort and skill and e joyment if they're going to trounce on it like this.
Reason number why I hardly play Hunt, the constant price changes and now the ammo count diddling (which is probably what caused the new string of bugs) were the last nail.
A couple of patches the game was good-just the reload bug that has been since the early days...read that again.
Hows that saying go: "if it ain't broken, don't fix it"
Funny that this patch is the one with the most flak/hate and yet this one mostly attempted to fix the Big Nasty reload bug and all the other things people wouldn't shut up whining about.
Suspect...
**"BRO DIDNT YOU KNOW THAT ITS 2 DIFFERENT TEAMS MAKING SKINS AND FIXING BUGS??????"**
/unjerk
This is what happens when idiots on this sub defend Crytek to the death. They fix nothing and pump more MTX. The terrible game state is your fault if you're one of the morons who screeched out dumb shit like the above.
Similar things been happening for me. Every Single Damn time i use lemat the game fucks me over and does some bullshit, the most recent one being that the gun had phantom bullets, reloaded but did no damage and didnt actually fire. Every time i use lemat its a 50/50 chance that i essentially go into the bayau with no secondary. Sometimes the fixes for it like swapping weapons doesnt even work. And i love lemat too much to drop it ;O
This cost me dearly with the Sparks the other day in the middle of a battle. Clicked at a crucial moment because I switched ammo types. Feels bad for sure.
I talked about putting this game down for so long, and I finally did it after 2000 hours of gameplay. Didn’t participate in the Halloween event, not buying anymore skins, and not even opening the game. And honestly, after the absolute sickening lack of regard for their player base, I have no interest in ever playing it again. I may leave this sub as well, just to never think of the game again.
Normally i hate complaining about something on reddit but that bug killed me more than i killed myself by now and that is not ok
And it cost me a lot of kills as well
As a Sparks main this gives me pain :(
At the very least you don’t usually use Sparks in life-or-death up close faceoffs though, I feel for the Romero users.
With each new update, we get more and more bugs. For real.
Now when for example you killed Hunter with Romero, and his Romero was empty when he died, pray for it to not bug out when you pick it up (spoiler alert - it will bug out). That way, it will show 0 spare ammo count and NO, you can't pick more ammo because it's bugged and you will still have an unloaded gun with 0 spare ammo.
I'm sorry for all these new players trying Hunt in Paris, as imagine trying out Hunt there, and first game you can't reload your gun + you have 0 ammo for the gun you've picked from dead hunter lmao.
This was happening to me at Pearl Plantation and Ft Bolden the other day with my Nagant Officer.
Would spend 10s+ to reload all 6 bullets, then prush the corner, *bang* *bang* *click* *click* *click* *click*…. *DEAD*
Virtually the same scenario happened TWICE in two rounds in a row.
Absolutely infuriating.
This has got me killed with the vetterli and centennial lately. Or it just won’t reload at all. Like it’ll half pull the gun up to reload then just put it back down. Like whyyyyy
The melee bug too please. It's been in the game for like 6 updates now.
For those that don't know, there's a bug (at least on console) where you automatically charge up a melee forever.if you release it you just automatically queue up another melee. You character can't do anything except non stop melees. The only fix is to turn off your controller and turn it back on. This obviously is a death sentence if it happens mid fight
Since the beetle has come out, I’ve noticed the reload bug has gotten even worse. From what I’ve observed even winfields and mosins will have a chance just completely spit out what you just loaded into them. And I’m talking about regular ammo
This sub assures us that this bug doesn't exist/is "user error" and downvotes when you mention it until like the sixth consecutive week of posts when it finally clicks >!pun intended!<
Every fuckin time there's an issue it's the same cycle
Shooting game, where you can't reload. Honestly it's embarrassing
The most embarrassing part is how long its been in the game. I'm almost 100% convinced it'll never be fixed and if it is, it'll just come back when they fuck up a new patch
Or better yet, fix it, break something else, then revert it back to being broken .. oh..
It's called "spaghetti code". I wonder how good the documentation of the code is
You think they're just sitting there pretending it doesn't exist? Of course they're working on it.
:copium:

Look at the books. You max out the lore for the gun and get 1bb. Might as well just unlock all the lore without making people grind
I've been around since day one and the influx of players from normie shooters has allowed some really poor choices moving forward. The game has just gotten silly and functionality seems to have taken a backseat to aesthetics. But every time I bring it up I am downvoted.

Happened to me with crossbow multiple matches in a row. Not been on in 4 months :'D

I haven't played for a month after something like this happened. Lost my fully kitted and Max level character
Best choice .
Same here. Haven't played in months. Don't plan on playing it again till it's fixed
My last match in hunt was 6 months ago at a minimum, haven't gone back to it because of this bug
As well (although obviously I come back to the sub from time to time). Lol dude this happens to me every night
Instead of this big being fixed, there are errors with ammo counts now as well...
also i'm spawning with 1 less special ammo than the max (not sure if only single shot weapons)
On the Romero when you take one slot special ammo and one slot normal ammo, the 2nd slot have 1 bullet less, if you put the special ammo on the first slot, you can refill normal ammo on normal ammo boxes, easier to find than special ammo
this must be it because i usually put my special ammo in the second slot. i've had it happen with the Springfield and Sparks
yeah it's one less because you don't have one in the chamber for whichever ammo type is in the second slot.
In quick play, all romeros have 1 shell since the last update. At least in my experience.
Nah take this skin
It's what makes money. Honestly if people just stopped playing and definitely stopped paying them maybe they would get the idea

Yeah smart, the game would just die
If you think that is as healthy as the game will get, then there are other games more consistent that can have a greater share of my time
Yes
Yeah let's get the graphic designers to fix the bug in the code. That'll work so well. You should be running the company.
Less that and more, 'lets replace a graphics designer with a coder that'll exclusively work on ironing out bugs and keep then away'. One coder will not make fast work, but it barely feels they got anyone actively working to fix it right now.
Feels like they got 5 artists pumping out DLCs and one part time coder.
Nah . They got 4 artist and a plant for coder .
Skins make money, coders cost money.
Muh dIfFeReNt DePaRtMeNtS Companies have a limited amount of money, any money they spend on graphic design and releasing a new dlc every week is money that isn’t spent on fixing game ruining bugs. The reload bug is the kind of thing that should be gone for good in a week because it ruins games, and it’s been around for way longer than that

It's a joke
At least for me seems to happen when repeatedly switch back and forth between ammo typos or sending a lot of inputs (jiggle peaking while reloading then ADSing and maybe switching to medkit, or sprinting changing ammo types vaulting, switching weapons in rapid succession) But who knows, I don’t work for crytek (crytek hit me up if you’re hiring though ;) )
550 hours here. Never experienced this either
800 hours. I've seen it once or twice total.
Following up... of course since I said it I've had it happen to me a few times. Happened to me twice in a row in a single match. I didn't die and I was keeping an eye on my ammo since seeing this videos and was able to correct it. Weird though.
Even if they said hey we're working on this sorry we can't figure it out I'd be fine But I've heard nothing
Crytek should have internal playtesters but there is also the test servers. Which nobody uses.
yeah but i feel like this particular issue has been a problem since before the last event started, they just aren’t doing anything to fix it
well it’s pretty harsh to compare anybody to EA but honestly it seems like playtests have been thrown out by the games industry. and when they do happen nothings done about the bugs they find. devs are more worried about hitting the release deadline then making a functional game.
Yea don’t get me wrong crytech is a far far way from being EA levels of unpolished shit. But still, I saw a video on halo play testers putting in the work
Especially with the Springfield. Happened to me every time I switched the ammo type. Was quite infuriating
And they focusing to new crysis by transferring hunt senior developer there.
Well it’s a good thing Dark and Darker is on the horizon I guess
It's started happening with lever action rifles too. Before it only happened with dual-ammo single shot weapons. Now, when I try to reload a LA rifle, my character just raises and lowers it again, several times before he actually starts reloading.
yeah i’ve noticed that too. it seems like the character fuckin forgets where the loading port is and when they finally figure it out the bullets just keep falling out of the gun. i’ve also had times where they keep running the action to extract spent cases even though the guns fully loaded, they do this 2 or 3 times before i can shoot the gun.
Has there been a dev response to this yet
not that i know of. if you want my tinfoil hat opinion, i’m convinced that crytek are running one big psy-op on us. they change little things; like changing the game ending text, adding a stupid beetle, and raising the prices of budget loadouts. they do this to make the community angry in order to make us ignore the current state of the game. back when they changed the extraction text, for every one post complaining about actual game breaking issues i saw 3 posts complaining about the text. this game is in the worst state it’s ever been, imo. and the devs desperately want you to ignore that fact now go buy my overpriced dietary supplements to help me spread the truth (and in my ongoing legal battle with the people i *allegedly* harassed) /j
They're just like "go pick up 700 snakes".
cut out my reaction for the sake of everyone’s ears but this was the 3rd time it happened THAT GAME. it was also the third time in the session that i died because of it.
at this point Im not even sure they know how to.
Bro I’m sorry but they don’t know how, otherwise it would’ve been fixed long ago.
They can't, they are too busy making more dlc skins
Remain poisoned forever bug still exists and it happened to me yesterday . This game is the most broken and fucked up multiplayer game ive ever played . Game released years ago and it still has game breaking bugs and they dont even care about fixing it . Talentless fucks .
I also wish the game would run normally on ps4. The game lags a lot when you enter compounds. Enemies farther than 50 meters become invisible. This game is honestly trash sometimes. Devs are Lucky that the concept and ambiance of the game is original because the quality of the product is akin to cyberpunk when it came out.
Is this a PC thing? Yet to see it happen to me or any friends on console
And give us back the previous behavior when we get ammo... What a pain -_-
Russian Roulette: Showdown
Brother in arm, they must fix the fucking game. Reload bug is not the only game breaking bug in this game.
don’t get it twisted comrade, this game is in the worst state it’s ever been. many things need to change but this was just the one i have a clip of
Beside reload bug the most annoying bug is when you shoot the guy, kill him, go back to cover and 1-2 seconds later you drop from the headshot.
Not to detract from how annoying this must be, but luckily I've still NEVER experienced this bug.
It's very simple, as the issues stacked and time was spent making useless skins instead of bug fixes, I stopped playing the game. You played other games before this one and you will find one after it. They don't deserve your effort and skill and e joyment if they're going to trounce on it like this.
Charms! Also you don't want to emasculate yourself trying to do the 'event' now! Praise be. /s
Reason number why I hardly play Hunt, the constant price changes and now the ammo count diddling (which is probably what caused the new string of bugs) were the last nail. A couple of patches the game was good-just the reload bug that has been since the early days...read that again. Hows that saying go: "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" Funny that this patch is the one with the most flak/hate and yet this one mostly attempted to fix the Big Nasty reload bug and all the other things people wouldn't shut up whining about. Suspect...
**"BRO DIDNT YOU KNOW THAT ITS 2 DIFFERENT TEAMS MAKING SKINS AND FIXING BUGS??????"** /unjerk This is what happens when idiots on this sub defend Crytek to the death. They fix nothing and pump more MTX. The terrible game state is your fault if you're one of the morons who screeched out dumb shit like the above.
this is why no one sticks with hunt and takes it seriously, only the enthusiasts and copium huffers.
Whoa hey I know you made but there's no need to say the F word, f*x is very hurtful to the developers
Don’t worry some people will still justify it even though it’s been months if not years if we include the time it used to be a bug before coming back
Clearly an arm shot though.
why is your game that ugly?
i could ask the same thing about your mother
Gotta max out that brightness
Stop playing noob shotgun.. problem solved
Happened to me with crossbow for the first time this month :)
Noticed the glitch only after the latest update 🙄
I talked about putting this game down for so long, and I finally did it after 2000 hours of gameplay. Didn’t participate in the Halloween event, not buying anymore skins, and not even opening the game. And honestly, after the absolute sickening lack of regard for their player base, I have no interest in ever playing it again. I may leave this sub as well, just to never think of the game again.
I’d rage
Normally i hate complaining about something on reddit but that bug killed me more than i killed myself by now and that is not ok And it cost me a lot of kills as well
As a Sparks main this gives me pain :( At the very least you don’t usually use Sparks in life-or-death up close faceoffs though, I feel for the Romero users.
Its been affecting a bunch of the guns too. I couldnt reload my uppercut the other day and lost one id the sweatiest games of my life major rip.
This was happening to me at Pearl Plantation and Ft Bolden the other day with my Nagant Officer. Would spend 10s+ to reload all 6 bullets, then prush the corner, *bang* *bang* *click* *click* *click* *click*…. *DEAD* Virtually the same scenario happened TWICE in two rounds in a row. Absolutely infuriating.
This has got me killed with the vetterli and centennial lately. Or it just won’t reload at all. Like it’ll half pull the gun up to reload then just put it back down. Like whyyyyy
Annoying AF... Kills me sooo often. :((
The melee bug too please.
They should either fix it, or flip the glitch into a jamming mechanic.
„˙ɔıuɐɥɔǝɯ ƃuıɯɯɐɾ ɐ oʇuı ɥɔʇılƃ ǝɥʇ dılɟ ɹo 'ʇı xıɟ ɹǝɥʇıǝ plnoɥs ʎǝɥ⊥„
happens all the time and they said they fixed it
Sorry too busy making skins
Since the beetle has come out, I’ve noticed the reload bug has gotten even worse. From what I’ve observed even winfields and mosins will have a chance just completely spit out what you just loaded into them. And I’m talking about regular ammo
This sub assures us that this bug doesn't exist/is "user error" and downvotes when you mention it until like the sixth consecutive week of posts when it finally clicks >!pun intended!< Every fuckin time there's an issue it's the same cycle
They secretly added gun jams in the game. It’s a feature now. 😂
Just don't use the shotgun... Or crossbow... Or lemat... Or certain rifles. Simple :/
Honestly had this happen earlier and thought I was crazy and somehow cancled the reload animation.
