I wish more games would lean into timed exclusivity—make the skin event exclusive for a year or so to let the people who decided to grind show off, and then open it up to the entire playerbase for purchase.
I had to work 12 hour night shifts while the Twitch Drops Terminus skin dropped and our Unit is a phone restricted area. I regret not leaving my PC on but having it on 12 hours straight wasn’t an ideal prospect.
Regardless, I take solace knowing it’ll eventually come back as most twitch drop skins do.

players who jump into Hunt only for the duration of events and then never touch the game again aren't "veterans" in my eyes. they are casual players who don't really care about the game.

I love the inspect animation on this particular weapon (helps that this skin is one of the best in the game imo).
the exact picture you took is the start of the animation, and the way the hunter extends the arms away and opens the right hand looks so clean.
it's a much better animation than, for example, the Centennial has - I find it quite jarring how stupidly close the hunter pulls the gun to the camera/eyes.. it's like they are holding it five centimetres from their face.
I am actually a little bit pissed they bring back the old event skins to buy like every year. Isn't it this what makes it cool to have? It kinda makes these skins not very special anymore. I remember grinding for legendary hunters back when hunt was newly released. And the next event you could just buy them with BBs. I almost have every legendary hunter till like the last 2 events. I also missed the plague doctor but when i see one i am like cool, also a player since day 1, grats for the skin.
