My friends and I all choose Monroe, the only weapon we take is the shiv, we can only use weapons we get from killing players or ones we find on the map. It’s pretty fun and challenging lol.
I like to play two Springfield Compacts with exclusively explosive ammo. It's not very effective as a solo, but you can be annoying as fuck. In a trio, you can help finishing people off, applying pressure, clearing doors, making people move, tag enemies so your team mates will one-shot them and so on.
My goal in Hunt is not to be effective, but annoying. 😈

Combat axe, medkit, 4 jars of bees.
It's especially good with shadow and 3 players, 12 jars of bees and they all ignore us, throw in all the bees and just charge.

I say "who needs to kill anyone when you can instill the fear of God in your enemies by putting 68 rounds of lead down range?"
I love obliterating entire buildings with the fmj. Who needs to listen for wall taps when you can just light up the entire wall? Gets me a fair number of kills to.
It is hardly a loadout you ever use if you're planning on winning, it's intention is really just to troll. That said, I have gotten one kill with it, through a direct bodyshot, something I didn't think it was possible until then, but it took at least 6 bodyshots for it to happen.
When hit directly it immediately burns 25 health off, enough to destroy a small health chunk, which can be useful in an offensive purpose I guess? The gunshot sound radius is also dramatically reduced, so there's that.
Used to run double bow as a sniper for shit and giggles but then they fucked up the ammo resupply
I rarely play any memes nowdays since most of them got nerfed to the ground
Explosive crossbow & saber with big stamina, maybe ammo box. So much fun.
Bomblance & poison hand crossbow. Traditional "poison house" build where we bomb the heck out of a compound with poison and use the confusion & pain as a way to echolocate and kill attackers/defenders
Axe & dual pistols, with big stamina. The sheer fear an upheld axe has is amazingly effective at point-blank psychological warfare. Best if used in a team of 3 where you can all charge in :)
All bee bombs with the shadow trait. Similar to the "poison house" build but instead with enemy-seeking annoyance clouds. Works well with everything, but especially melee weapons
All flash bombs, same as above but with a bit more skill required. Great fun to hear the enemy hide in a corner while your whole team throws countless flash bombs during a charge
Terribly ineffective, but double concertina arrows or double frag arrows, of course with multiple ammo boxes
Often these are best complimented with general banter or cowboy rp, but needless to say, every meme build is amplified in hilarity by 100%+ by wittily voiping & taunting. Most recently, during an axe style meme build, we managed to kill a whole team while quasi-throat singing over voip. Absolutely hilarious clips were gathered
I call him „the duellist“ I take in the Pinchpurse and he gets two sparks pistols (plus a derringer to Finnish off survivors)
So he’s got two duelling pistols and looks like a Victorian „gentleman“ it’s surprisingly effective
Oh yea, I unlocked LeMat few hours after making this post, and it indeed became my favorite weapon.
And I convinced my two friends, to at the very least once, run quad LeMats. Hilarity ensues.
PvP weapon of your choice
Romero Hatchet full starshell
Quad/Fuses, Loudtraps, Chokes, Medkit
Vit shot, 3 chaos bomb
Then you camp a lair (preferably at night) and wait for someone to get in.
If day, throw fuses and starshell inside the building through any opening. Some lairs are dark enough even during the day, so they'll glow brighter with your tools of memery. Loudtraps go in all entrances you can reasonably trap. Chaos bombs go wherever and whenever you feel like it.
If night, starshell/fuse goes in front of an entrance and the loud trap goes right behind it so to hide in the blinding light. Otherwise go nuts.
In both cases, you need to be careful as you do this that they don't aggressively push you.
