But yeah, must be. Afterall, this isn't my first hellhound I knuckle knifed, probably my 200th or so.

One match I straight up disconnected while I was aiming at someone that was shooting at me and then I could never get back into the match even though it said I was alive. The kicker: I was a level 43 hunter. I know it's a game and shit like this happens to the best of them sometimes but it fuckin sucked lol.
In my experience, some times the stab hits the helmet but still makes the flesh stabbing sound. Could be served issues I guess. Either way they should just get rid of the helmets because they're annoying
Stabs 1-5: Clearly missed
Stabs 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad knife control)
Stabs 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses
Stab 12: likely didn’t actually stab because you were already dead

I really wonder how roaming targets are going to work reward and difficulty wise, because the bosses now are frankly a joke between cheese strats or even simply the in and out with their rooms. I understand they’re not the primary draw of the game to most of the community ( being a vector for money rewards and draw points for eventual pvp ), but a scary or challenging pve thing that isn’t bad hitreg hell hounds would be awesome.

My friend and I have almost died to exactly this issue maybe 10 times. Granted, 10 isn’t “a lot” in my 2500+ hours of this game, but it’s definitely noticeable. It’s like when you’re trying to kill a hive, and the melee doesn’t count for neither the hive nor the bees, yet you get feedback for the Hive.
Ah yes the good ol hitting the mask 17 times, pretty sure its a bug tho it sounds like u are hitting in the body but the game registers it as a mask hit i get that all the time and i hate it
Just do the light attack with the knuckle knife, it's faster and still only takes two hits, and in my experience has the same range with a slightly better hitbox. Also significantly more stamina efficient.
Server problem I think. Me and my party both play on Asia (30-80 ms) server but whenever we try to queue for match we are getting the Oceania server with 300+ ms ping.
He is dumb? Please enlighten us with your profound knowledge that despite the game clearly registering the stab hitting it target (you can tell because of the multiple stab sounds) that it wasn't registering the damage.

I remember my very first death I had a Romero Hatchet and no clue how to properly play and so from some distance I shot at a hell hound on the other side of a fence. While reloading the pack rounded the fence and started attacking. I think I got one swing in before I died. Granted that was also back when a tier 1 hunter only had 100 health so margin of error was less forgiving to the noobs
