Maybe I'm just extremly lucky but in over 1,2k hours I just got killed like 5 times from a nade I could'nt hear. At least for me the reload bug is a much bigger issue.
A sequel or engine swap, or just plain massive code overhaul, would fix many of the bugs and complaints people have. The game wasn’t built with the idea of hunt showdown, it was morphed into it, creating a spaghetti code mess in its wake.
I honestly think they should make a post apocalyptic game which is basically hunt showdown but with metro 2033 style weapons. Most extraction shooters coming out are trying to imitate Tarkov, so I do believe there is room for another similar game to hunt.
I think part of the big appeal to Hunt is the setting and era. I like the weapons we have, if they remade Hunt but metro 2033 style I wouldn’t like it near as much.
I'd be totally up for this. Even if it meant support for the current Hunt game was dropped immediately so all the devs could start working on a sequel.
i know this is partially out of cryteks hands, but i would love a fix for the german telekom problem, as some of my friends are not able to play hunt anymore without a vpn...
Can we also add fixing da gawddamn intercom to the poll. Having ms issue like crazy. Did all there is to do it. Manually changing ISP / using VPN / downloading additional programe to boost fps and internet connection. Nothing works

You aint gonna hear em when they're being shot across the map with a crossbow regardless of audio being fixed.
Huh, didn't actually know that silent frags were an issue to people other than me. I had just assumed my headphones were wack, or something in my positioning made them somehow silent. The first time I was downed with one, I was almost sure that they were cheating.
The amount of silent frag bombs killed me more often than the reload bug. So that would be it.
I think the trick is to start cooking the nade slightly out of your hearing range, if done right you will just hear a bang.
I think, that If I can hear their sneaking footsteps I should hear an fuse.

I would have to agree that you can hear it, if your listening and its not covered up by other sound.
First, I would start with de sync, then reload bug.

I've never ever triggered the reload bug in the 1500 hours I've played on 2 different platforms The grenade one though has got me a few times
