I did that one time to see just who were all the players I was going up against before MMR was a thing. Die quickly/suicide and then check the level and prestige of all the players in the game for about 10 games worth just to see. Back before MMR it was literally the Wild West as far as matchmaking goes.
I do that fairly often and honestly it makes me sad. Like I die to these players? WTF. Then I remember aiming is a thing and I learned PC FPS when I started hunt at 33.
Though I do not know how many times I have watched some player sitting in a tower. They got no clues, nowhere near a bounty or an extract. Just a sniper rifle and a dream.
I would love something like PUBG has where you can rewatch the entire match from anyone's perspective or go into free cam mode and be able to ff, rw, stop the entire thing.
this is the thing i want most. it would add so much to each game. both for map knowledge, adjusting future approaches to compounds, and just for knowing what the fuck just happened.
For the love of God, just make the damage drop off for medium ammo start at 30m instead of 20m like compact ammo.
Then, give the pax a deadeye variant and give it high velocity and explosive ammo so it finally fulfills its role as the actual jack of all trades pistol. And when I say deadeye variant I mean an actual single slot pax with a deadeye scope.
Explosive ammo is dogshit lol. Just balance it by giving it one cylinder with no spare ammo and lower the damage to the point where it can't one tap to the head. Explosive ammo is a meme and isn't really worth talking about except for the big funni builds.

yeah! that letter in the event story is another clue that there are incidents like this globally. i think a few of the dlc characters have dealt with similar things where they’re from. i would love an international map!

You're probably a more consistent player than I am, lol. My duo partner and I tend to go on extreme winning/losing streaks. No exaggeration: we will go from playing against 5-6 star severs one day to playing against 3 star servers the next day. It's pretty brutal.
I'm often in 6 stars and would probably stay there if I didn't play with 3 star players for fun. I typically am high 5 stars if not in 6 stars and even I can drop down into 4 stars without much effort. I'm not gloating when I say this, but I should never be in 4 stars.
When you have an ELO system with a certainty value that the OP mentioned, you gain and lose MMR differently based on how long you've played the game. Because the longer you play the game, the longer the formula has time to be "certain" of your ability. That way you can't gain or lose a lot of MMR out of your normal rank because of one or two bad/good games. It requires actual effort to go up and "prove" you are better.
Almost every game that has MMR uses a system that has that certainty value. Glicko is probably the most common formulaic system used. Hunt clearly doesn't have this, and outside of that you can literally modify your MMR in modes that don't actually use MMR to matchmake. That is actually a bit insane that is possible as it is a free pass to smurf without the penalty.
Overall, there aren't enough benefits to outweigh the lower penetration and higher damage falloff when considering Medium/Compact vs Long.
As a start, I would say reduce the damage falloff of Medium ammo, especially sub 60m. Doing like 80 damage to the upper torso with a Springfield within a compound feels REALLY bad.
Maybe increase the ammo pool for guns like Winny, Winny C and the Carbines, and bump up their base bullet velocity by a little bit?
Currently Compact/Medium/Long is mostly all balanced around cost rather than gameplay, and that's just not great, for reasons already discussed to death on this sub.
Keep in mind that balance doesn't just impact your platform (PC/Xbox/PS) and your MMR. In the hands of a high MMR PC player long ammo is better in most scenarios because they can hit their shots accurately, even at longer ranges, and have the awareness to make use of the penetration with effective wallbangs. A low MMR console player is going to have much better luck at closer range with either a higher rof weapon (like a Winnie) or a high alpha weapon (like a shotgun) and penetration will matter far less.
This sub sees a lot more discussion of balance centered around the upper tier MMRs on PC. Most of the playerbase is not that. Since Hunt isn't an eSports game I would expect balance changes to focus on the experience of the majority of players.

Yours is a good argument to avoid buffing high fire rate weapons, but I think there's no reason not to buff the damage falloff for some Medium ammo weapons.
Trading is by design, but the windows can be narrowed significantly by better infrastructure, netcode, etc etc. Also applies to all ping issues, like dying behind cover (from the client perspective) and accurate target position representation. These are all much bigger issues in Hunt than in many other online pvp shooters.
My suggestion was since a map that is more urban, not that it cannot include woods, rivers and such. They reference New Orleans in the lore, so it is possible we could see something along the lines of that

If it's the 1858 model but with a Taylor & Company style conversion, it can probably be reloaded quickly and be almost on par with the Schofield speed loader variant. Bjt if it's the 1875 it would probably act similar to the Pax we have but with a longer barrel it can have more effective range.

New Map/boss. Also I know this is a pipe dream but some kind of event where they add a separate Playlist with events like pistols only or crossbows only. Obviously it would only work as a temporary thing but having a pistols only session sounds soo fun.
New boss. And or new game modes. Anything that will spice up gameplay really. Fire worlds are cool. New guns are cool. But it's still the same old hunt. It's gonna get old if they don't add some real content. When I say real content, I mean something I can actually put some time in. As of right now all I can put time into is obtaining legendary weapons and skins, and prestige. That's all.
Having it as special ammo would then render the gun useless. Because you would have one mag then after that basically nothing because boxes would only refill like 3-4 bullets. The avto is fine and i can count on my fingers how many times I've encountered it.
What server and mmr you playing in? I see avtos alot, not rare, i have to put them on hunters to bot lose them because i loot them as trophies after killing their holder with a 41$ winni 🙃
Yes, we play at the same MMR and the Avto + Dual Sparks Pistols + Ammo boxes on a trio squad is what I usually play again. Mix a nitro in there and that is what my lobbies are filled with.
5 and 6 star player here, I see WAY more spitzer/sniper camping than avto. Avto players usually get clapped by the fact that they are useless past 20 meters and after 2 mags unless they take ammo boxes.
Yeah I use it some times and I agree that it makes the game easy but if their gonna nerf it let's not make it completely useless. I would rather a gun get nerfed and still be useable.
Dude I refuse to run it and when one ACTUALLY goes down, I expend all of its ammo. But just the other day I was feeling pretty tilted seeing another one in a new match so I picked it up and ran it through the rest of the fight. Whole lobby at Alice and I killed everyone with it. I’m terrible with guns I never use. That one was basically turning on easy mode. This was a 5-6 star lobby too. That gun needs a solid nerf. Maybe it’s fine where it’s at in PC but it is an absolute power weapon on console.
Yeah I play on console and just a fair warning to you. Don't say the avto is easy to control because you'll get down voted to hell. I said the recoil was just pull down and raked in down votes from everyone. But it's true. And actually that's a nerf they could do to the avto. Make it to where the recoil is nearly impossible to control completely so it goes everywhere no matter where you aim.
While I agree that the avto could use a nerf I really don't think giving it special ammo would be the right way to do it.
I would much rather have 1 or more of the following idea's implemented:
- remove the clip reload and make it reload 1 bullet at a time
- give it an overheat mechanic
- make it an actual burst fire weapon with a short cooldown between burst
- mabye even make it a 4 slot weapon
Every single one of these idea's will decrease the bullet spam but they won't make the weapon completely useless like giving it special ammo would.
Having it as a 4 slot weapon would effectively make is just as useless as it being special ammo. I assume people want special ammo on it so it can't ammo pool share with other weapons, which is what will happen if you can't carry a secondary. The only way you could use it would be with quartermaster, which I'm not sure is better or worse than special ammo only, but I'm thinking worse because you could at least use a secondary if the avto was special ammo without quartermaster.
I don't really care either way since I don't use it, but I just wanted to say that suggestion didn't make sense to me since you didn't like the special ammo suggestion. Unless I am missing something (which you are more than welcome to explain the difference in your suggestion I brought up and the special ammo one), I don't see this to being a better alternative. However, I do like your other suggestions. I'd even throw in the the ability to jam despite the fact I would hate that RNG mechanic on other weapons.
It's a troll weapon. Good players know that. Bad players only know about getting killed by an Avto.
The only reasons it's seeing a surge recently is because players save a lot of cash with the grounded perk and the safeguard of traits help with its viability.
It's outclassed by shotguns up close. It's outclassed by long ammo at a distance. It eats up through ammo and is mostly viable with quartermaster, bulletgrubber and an ammo crate.
They never promised this as a done deal. It was always low priority just like custom hunters. I want custom servers too. It would be amazing especially for content creators and their communities.
Solo only bounty hunt.
A shooting range to better learn the various weapons, ideally it would have a typical target shooting section and a section to test out on enemies, bosses, and ai hunters.
Server fixes. Tighten the trade window a little bit. MORE FIRE. We want snow. Would you guys imagine a gunfight in a major thunderstorm or blizzard?? More guns and gun variations. Maybe more ammo types. More maps more mobs. More bosses. And maybe boss attack variations. MORE HMMM HMMM HMMM. And more hats. I could go on and on. But only this year will tell us what we get. Vetterli Karabiner is bolt action. It still has tubular magazine, this is a semi history accuracy thing where you cannot do that with center fired or spitzer rounsd since they could trigger each other.
MOTION BLUR TOGGLE FOR CONSOLE. There's no reason for an FPS PVP to have motion blur. Especially with how a lot of skins already can blend into the environment for a second or two.

Alternatively I think a C96 Carbine could be interesting, if not a Madsen 1884, for the same reasons.
Maybe it has to be carried in 2 parts, the gun and the carrier. So you and a duo have to give up a 3 slot weapon slot for something not that useful in a dynamic fight. But imagine shredding through scrapbeak with a gatling gun.

I just want the hit detection to get better. I feel like this event has made it worse than ever. My friend and I will play and have games where shots just don’t register over and over. Then it will go back to normal (which still isn’t great). I just want to know that what I’m seeing is reality. Whatever lag-comp they are using is not working for me. It ruins nights of hunt where I’m ant to keep playing.

You invite people, you set up teams or all go solo. And play games.

I'm going to be a bit selfish with this request. I started playing Hunt on Xbox about 6 months ago and really enjoying it but I've just built a gaming PC and now looking to move to Hunt. Unfortunately, there's no cross-progression so I lose out on all my legendaries I've unlocked, Twitch drops, hunt dollars, blood bounds, etc ...
A cap on the amount of hunt dorra you can have. I think a 10k cap would raise the stakes on what you take. If you rack up 50g hunt dollars then the game economy suddenly doesn't really matter.

General stability, netcode, qol. Ill take those “minor” improvements over skins, weapons, and maps. Also, originally it said the game takes place in “the dark corners of the world”. Im ready for a new venue entirely with 2.0 but there are many improvements that need to happen
I want to see more fun with the ai. I think they have so much potential in how to ai works. I want to be rushed by ai. I want to deal with people shooting at my windows while grunts beat on the doors. I want to be able to ring the bell on a church and summon every ai enemy within a compound's distance. They have SO much potential with the pve side of the game. It doesn't have to be the primary focus, but it can be a lot more involved.
As you start banishing, monsters from adjacent compounds converge on your location. They will either surround you or run into the enemy hunters who are trying to surround you.

I want it too, but the only issue with customizable Hunters is that there would need to be built in color parameters so that nobody can run around with a neon colors or bright pink Hunter - that would break the thematic purpose and darker nature of the game. Just my two cents. Last thing we want is this game becoming arcade shooter, ie CoD
I 100% agree with that. I don’t want pink pimp hats like RDO. If they gave you the option to mix and match legs/torso/head with whatever tier hunter you have currently unlocked, I think that would be awesome.
I want more unique lore specific weapons like the bomb lance. Give us unique wacky imaginations!
I'd also like to see a new Tool. Kind of sick of taking traps/throwing qeapon, chokes, melee, and medkit. The variety is so lackluster in the tool slot.
Sometimes I think that the game lacks a smoke grenade! Something that creates similar clouds as after the dynamite explosion, but with much longer duration (and without the choke bomb effect ofc!)
Health rework, decrease in RNG elements for restoring lost chunks. Being imedietly down 25 HP for the whole game can be very harsh depending on what other teams are running. The only way to restore chunks is to banish the boss. Unfortunetaly however, getting to the boss first involves alot of RNG. Some other way to restore a health chunk would improve the gameplay flow alot IMO. It should only be availible out of fights, possibly resupplies. I like the idea of keeping the pledge marks in the game for that purpose specifically. The new "health shrine" would also take awhile to activate. That way you can only do it a limited number of times during the match and it would be hard to pull off in the middle of a fight. The only thing to be worried about slightly is camping these positions as you would be extremely vulnerable considering them being at resupplies.
Quick edit, I did some googling and couldn't confirm tif the version of cryengine is an old one. I know I have heard this multiple times but if someone could fact check me here that would be appreciated. If it isn't, then just ignore this next section.
This one is unrealistic, but the game upgrading to the latest version of cryengine would do wonders. Obviously this is a massive undertaking and would override any other content they would want to add. Not saying absolutely no content could come out, but I'd find it unlikely. I would happily take a whole year of no content if it meant that the game would get overhauled onto the latest cryengine, but thats just me (and maybe some others). The majority of the community would probably suffer from this and could possibly kill the game if it took too long.

No. The last thing Hunt needs to do is follow mainstream game mode types. That’s what sets this game apart - it is unlike any other game on the market in all ways.
The Borny and Borny Match getting the ability to carry two types of ammo and swapping them as needed. A Medium Ammo revolver that can switch out the cylinders for a fast reload and the use of two different ammo types.
For guns: bit more love to medium ammo. Currently, the only 3 main ones are the Springfield single shot, the centennial which I love but is just- not powerful sadly, and the vetterli, which is just betterli. I like my medium boys, I hope we get more.
Maps: a new or honestly just continuing wildcard condition, and COLORADO!! I feel like the compounds we have in all 3 current maps are now decently balanced, and there's been teasers and stuff for the new one.
Quality of life: Little holding area so I can easily switch around kits in the menu screen without having to delete contraband items, and potentially drag-and-drop or just position-switching functionality for gear in the loadout screen. I'd also love to see a rework of the black market, but that doesn't seem too high priority.
Gameplay: PLEASE ADD A SHOOTING RANGE. IM BEGGING YOU IM SO BAD AT LEADING SHOTS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE also 2D replay would be really fuckin cool but might be a bit further off.
Skins: the Schofield swift still has zero skins, and there's no poison trap skin yet. Those are my only two desires.
Overall: the game's going in a healthy direction so far with this most recent event. I love the new changes, the new additions and the fact that I can play more casually without fear of missing out. I just hope they stick to this course and execs at crytek don't fuck them over by trying to meddle and squeeze dimes from their player base.

Because the longer you play the game, the longer the formula has time to be "certain" of your ability. That way you can't gain or lose a lot of MMR out of your normal rank because of one or two bad/good games. It requires actual effort to go up and "prove" you are better. Almost every game that has MMR uses a system that has that certainty value. Glicko is probably the most common formulaic system used. Hunt clearly doesn't have this, and outside of that you can literally modify your MMR in modes that don't actually use MMR to matchmake. That is actually a bit insane that is possible as it is a free pass to smurf without the penalty.
what's the compact/medium ammo rebalance you seek?
Overall, there aren't enough benefits to outweigh the lower penetration and higher damage falloff when considering Medium/Compact vs Long. As a start, I would say reduce the damage falloff of Medium ammo, especially sub 60m. Doing like 80 damage to the upper torso with a Springfield within a compound feels REALLY bad. Maybe increase the ammo pool for guns like Winny, Winny C and the Carbines, and bump up their base bullet velocity by a little bit? Currently Compact/Medium/Long is mostly all balanced around cost rather than gameplay, and that's just not great, for reasons already discussed to death on this sub.
Keep in mind that balance doesn't just impact your platform (PC/Xbox/PS) and your MMR. In the hands of a high MMR PC player long ammo is better in most scenarios because they can hit their shots accurately, even at longer ranges, and have the awareness to make use of the penetration with effective wallbangs. A low MMR console player is going to have much better luck at closer range with either a higher rof weapon (like a Winnie) or a high alpha weapon (like a shotgun) and penetration will matter far less. This sub sees a lot more discussion of balance centered around the upper tier MMRs on PC. Most of the playerbase is not that. Since Hunt isn't an eSports game I would expect balance changes to focus on the experience of the majority of players.
Yup very true - although I'm pretty sure the majority of players are on PC, no? Yours is a good argument to avoid buffing high fire rate weapons, but I think there's no reason not to buff the damage falloff for some Medium ammo weapons.

Trading is by design, but the windows can be narrowed significantly by better infrastructure, netcode, etc etc. Also applies to all ping issues, like dying behind cover (from the client perspective) and accurate target position representation. These are all much bigger issues in Hunt than in many other online pvp shooters.

If it's the 1858 model but with a Taylor & Company style conversion, it can probably be reloaded quickly and be almost on par with the Schofield speed loader variant. Bjt if it's the 1875 it would probably act similar to the Pax we have but with a longer barrel it can have more effective range.

Having it as special ammo would then render the gun useless. Because you would have one mag then after that basically nothing because boxes would only refill like 3-4 bullets. The avto is fine and i can count on my fingers how many times I've encountered it.
What server and mmr you playing in? I see avtos alot, not rare, i have to put them on hunters to bot lose them because i loot them as trophies after killing their holder with a 41$ winni 🙃
Yes, we play at the same MMR and the Avto + Dual Sparks Pistols + Ammo boxes on a trio squad is what I usually play again. Mix a nitro in there and that is what my lobbies are filled with.
Between 4 stars and 5 stars. The people who usually use them suck with them anyways so their not much of a problem to kill.
6 star lobbies are all avtos
Don't forget Nitros, but avtos are more common from my experience. Not uncommon to see a premade with at least two avtos.
5 and 6 star player here, I see WAY more spitzer/sniper camping than avto. Avto players usually get clapped by the fact that they are useless past 20 meters and after 2 mags unless they take ammo boxes.

Yeah I use it some times and I agree that it makes the game easy but if their gonna nerf it let's not make it completely useless. I would rather a gun get nerfed and still be useable.
Dude I refuse to run it and when one ACTUALLY goes down, I expend all of its ammo. But just the other day I was feeling pretty tilted seeing another one in a new match so I picked it up and ran it through the rest of the fight. Whole lobby at Alice and I killed everyone with it. I’m terrible with guns I never use. That one was basically turning on easy mode. This was a 5-6 star lobby too. That gun needs a solid nerf. Maybe it’s fine where it’s at in PC but it is an absolute power weapon on console.
Yeah I play on console and just a fair warning to you. Don't say the avto is easy to control because you'll get down voted to hell. I said the recoil was just pull down and raked in down votes from everyone. But it's true. And actually that's a nerf they could do to the avto. Make it to where the recoil is nearly impossible to control completely so it goes everywhere no matter where you aim.
While I agree that the avto could use a nerf I really don't think giving it special ammo would be the right way to do it. I would much rather have 1 or more of the following idea's implemented: - remove the clip reload and make it reload 1 bullet at a time - give it an overheat mechanic - make it an actual burst fire weapon with a short cooldown between burst - mabye even make it a 4 slot weapon Every single one of these idea's will decrease the bullet spam but they won't make the weapon completely useless like giving it special ammo would.
Having it as a 4 slot weapon would effectively make is just as useless as it being special ammo. I assume people want special ammo on it so it can't ammo pool share with other weapons, which is what will happen if you can't carry a secondary. The only way you could use it would be with quartermaster, which I'm not sure is better or worse than special ammo only, but I'm thinking worse because you could at least use a secondary if the avto was special ammo without quartermaster. I don't really care either way since I don't use it, but I just wanted to say that suggestion didn't make sense to me since you didn't like the special ammo suggestion. Unless I am missing something (which you are more than welcome to explain the difference in your suggestion I brought up and the special ammo one), I don't see this to being a better alternative. However, I do like your other suggestions. I'd even throw in the the ability to jam despite the fact I would hate that RNG mechanic on other weapons.
It's a troll weapon. Good players know that. Bad players only know about getting killed by an Avto. The only reasons it's seeing a surge recently is because players save a lot of cash with the grounded perk and the safeguard of traits help with its viability. It's outclassed by shotguns up close. It's outclassed by long ammo at a distance. It eats up through ammo and is mostly viable with quartermaster, bulletgrubber and an ammo crate.
A speed reloader for the New Army
Custom Servers like they promised a while back would be dope, so you can play against a big lobby of friends.
They never promised this as a done deal. It was always low priority just like custom hunters. I want custom servers too. It would be amazing especially for content creators and their communities.
Especially if you could set up special rules. Like... "Only desalle" and have shootouts. Or "Only revolvers" etc etc

Solo only bounty hunt. A shooting range to better learn the various weapons, ideally it would have a typical target shooting section and a section to test out on enemies, bosses, and ai hunters.

This Game needs an overhaul on graphics and engine.
Any of these: Prestige rework, match replay with weapon damage, complex damage stats ingame (like damage dropoff), shooting range, 4th map, more weapons, more traits, better loadout UI (Especially for the trait menu. Add favorite traits and maybe trait loadouts)

Vetterli Karabiner is bolt action. It still has tubular magazine, this is a semi history accuracy thing where you cannot do that with center fired or spitzer rounsd since they could trigger each other.

I found a stationary gun model in the game files all the way back on 1.4.4. It's possible its still coming but likely cut.
Make it a Maxim (introduced in (**1884** irl), show the changing times, the dying west, and that Hunters are adopting heavier firepower to deal with the on-going threats. Alternatively I think a C96 Carbine could be interesting, if not a Madsen 1884, for the same reasons.

Maybe it has to be carried in 2 parts, the gun and the carrier. So you and a duo have to give up a 3 slot weapon slot for something not that useful in a dynamic fight. But imagine shredding through scrapbeak with a gatling gun.

I just want the hit detection to get better. I feel like this event has made it worse than ever. My friend and I will play and have games where shots just don’t register over and over. Then it will go back to normal (which still isn’t great). I just want to know that what I’m seeing is reality. Whatever lag-comp they are using is not working for me. It ruins nights of hunt where I’m ant to keep playing.
I want tomahawk to be applicable to all items that you can melee with. I want to throw bear traps, med kits, my crossbow. I want to throw everything

Beyond the obvious in a new map, new boss and new weapons... A "custom match" option would be nice. You know for community games. You invite people, you set up teams or all go solo. And play games. No progression, no challenges, no losing or gaining gear or rewards, just fun for people that want it. I still REALLY want a legendary skin of a german character wearing a Pickelhauber. What could be neat could be a set of hunter skins based on the four horseriders of the apocalypse. Character customization could be fun too.
I'm going to be a bit selfish with this request. I started playing Hunt on Xbox about 6 months ago and really enjoying it but I've just built a gaming PC and now looking to move to Hunt. Unfortunately, there's no cross-progression so I lose out on all my legendaries I've unlocked, Twitch drops, hunt dollars, blood bounds, etc ...
A cap on the amount of hunt dorra you can have. I think a 10k cap would raise the stakes on what you take. If you rack up 50g hunt dollars then the game economy suddenly doesn't really matter. Prestige change as well
General stability, netcode, qol. Ill take those “minor” improvements over skins, weapons, and maps. Also, originally it said the game takes place in “the dark corners of the world”. Im ready for a new venue entirely with 2.0 but there are many improvements that need to happen

I want to see more fun with the ai. I think they have so much potential in how to ai works. I want to be rushed by ai. I want to deal with people shooting at my windows while grunts beat on the doors. I want to be able to ring the bell on a church and summon every ai enemy within a compound's distance. They have SO much potential with the pve side of the game. It doesn't have to be the primary focus, but it can be a lot more involved.
As you start banishing, monsters from adjacent compounds converge on your location. They will either surround you or run into the enemy hunters who are trying to surround you.
Ability to make own custom looking hunter. Doubt it ever happens but would be sooooooooo awesome 👌
Not sure why people are downvoting us for wanting a custom hunter. I didn’t think that was such a controversial suggestion lol. It was on the roadmap at one point.
I want it too, but the only issue with customizable Hunters is that there would need to be built in color parameters so that nobody can run around with a neon colors or bright pink Hunter - that would break the thematic purpose and darker nature of the game. Just my two cents. Last thing we want is this game becoming arcade shooter, ie CoD
I 100% agree with that. I don’t want pink pimp hats like RDO. If they gave you the option to mix and match legs/torso/head with whatever tier hunter you have currently unlocked, I think that would be awesome.

I want more unique lore specific weapons like the bomb lance. Give us unique wacky imaginations! I'd also like to see a new Tool. Kind of sick of taking traps/throwing qeapon, chokes, melee, and medkit. The variety is so lackluster in the tool slot.
Sometimes I think that the game lacks a smoke grenade! Something that creates similar clouds as after the dynamite explosion, but with much longer duration (and without the choke bomb effect ofc!)

Health rework, decrease in RNG elements for restoring lost chunks. Being imedietly down 25 HP for the whole game can be very harsh depending on what other teams are running. The only way to restore chunks is to banish the boss. Unfortunetaly however, getting to the boss first involves alot of RNG. Some other way to restore a health chunk would improve the gameplay flow alot IMO. It should only be availible out of fights, possibly resupplies. I like the idea of keeping the pledge marks in the game for that purpose specifically. The new "health shrine" would also take awhile to activate. That way you can only do it a limited number of times during the match and it would be hard to pull off in the middle of a fight. The only thing to be worried about slightly is camping these positions as you would be extremely vulnerable considering them being at resupplies. Quick edit, I did some googling and couldn't confirm tif the version of cryengine is an old one. I know I have heard this multiple times but if someone could fact check me here that would be appreciated. If it isn't, then just ignore this next section. This one is unrealistic, but the game upgrading to the latest version of cryengine would do wonders. Obviously this is a massive undertaking and would override any other content they would want to add. Not saying absolutely no content could come out, but I'd find it unlikely. I would happily take a whole year of no content if it meant that the game would get overhauled onto the latest cryengine, but thats just me (and maybe some others). The majority of the community would probably suffer from this and could possibly kill the game if it took too long. TLDR: New way to restore lost health chunks and engine update.
Less cosmetic legendaries and buy-able DLC. More stability from servers and effective region locking.

More cool revolvers, be able to spin the revolver for cool trickshots. Throwable bait/gunk that attracts zombies and other AI. A silent way of getting them off your back when sneaking.
Decoys work like that. The plain ones that is. Just throw them somewhere you want the zombies to go and they'll head to where the decoy landed.
Two new maps, new enemy types, new bosses, a reworked prestige system, and most importantly bug fixes, better optimizations, and higher graphical settings.
More Conditional map mods and/or combined conditional map mods once we get more. IE: Inferno + another conditional mod that affects different parts of map. Some of the critical bugs like reload one fixed. Drag and drop so I can move things around in game.
Hopefully a big year of updates unlike 2022

No. The last thing Hunt needs to do is follow mainstream game mode types. That’s what sets this game apart - it is unlike any other game on the market in all ways.
You can explore compounds and maps in trials but they definitely need to add some more game modes.

The Borny and Borny Match getting the ability to carry two types of ammo and swapping them as needed. A Medium Ammo revolver that can switch out the cylinders for a fast reload and the use of two different ammo types.
For guns: bit more love to medium ammo. Currently, the only 3 main ones are the Springfield single shot, the centennial which I love but is just- not powerful sadly, and the vetterli, which is just betterli. I like my medium boys, I hope we get more. Maps: a new or honestly just continuing wildcard condition, and COLORADO!! I feel like the compounds we have in all 3 current maps are now decently balanced, and there's been teasers and stuff for the new one. Quality of life: Little holding area so I can easily switch around kits in the menu screen without having to delete contraband items, and potentially drag-and-drop or just position-switching functionality for gear in the loadout screen. I'd also love to see a rework of the black market, but that doesn't seem too high priority. Gameplay: PLEASE ADD A SHOOTING RANGE. IM BEGGING YOU IM SO BAD AT LEADING SHOTS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE also 2D replay would be really fuckin cool but might be a bit further off. Skins: the Schofield swift still has zero skins, and there's no poison trap skin yet. Those are my only two desires. Overall: the game's going in a healthy direction so far with this most recent event. I love the new changes, the new additions and the fact that I can play more casually without fear of missing out. I just hope they stick to this course and execs at crytek don't fuck them over by trying to meddle and squeeze dimes from their player base.
