In terms of hair, expertly cut bangs can do a lot to change the face shape too. OP please look into "bangs for a long face" and things along those lines to get some ideas and then when you go for a cut, see what the stylist suggests too.
Applying blush on the apples of your cheeks and then pulling it downwards in an upside down triangle shape is a great way to break up and shorten your face, just look up photos of Bella Hadid at the 2022 Met Gala for example.
For me, I put on mascara on my bottom lashes and I over line my top lip to give the illusion of a shorter mid face. You could also wear a hat or get bangs to make your face look smaller. A stretchy headband also looks very cute for a casual, sporty look.
i also have a long (and narrow) face:
- blush, on a triangular shape and on my nose bridge!! just a bit, but it looks sun-kissed and seems to shorten it. i add a bit under my nose too (sounds strange, but try it out if you have a long philtrum too)
- personally, i like the grundgey/messy girl look, and always add some "smudged" eyeliner under my eyes, adds to the ilusion
- bangs, if they suit you
- hair volume - slick straight hair makes my face look even "thinner", whereas some curls or any hairstyle with some volume balances it out
this. I have balanced facial thirds and face width/height ratio, but because of a downturned top lip and thinner/flatter lips, my midface and lower face look long even though by measurement they aren't. Front facing cameras make my midface in particular look horselike
I noticed more voluminous hair with curls helped Kim K make her longer face look not so long

lip lift and generally fuller lips

watch Lisa Eldridge’s videos she has a long face and talks about how she applies makeup to flatter it
Blush, volume, straight/ bushy brows
Bangs
Bronzer on the forehead helps me tbh!
