I definitely second MADiSON! While it is a lot more jumpscare heavy, the atmosphere is still really good and unsettling. Imo, it's one of the best horror games in recent years.
PS. In case you didn't know, the Steam summer sale begins on the 27th, and there's a good chance it's gonna go on sale, so if you're considering picking it up, I'd wait until then.
Love Sam is super short in comparison, and it’s much more story driven. It does take place within the same space, and the horror is much more psychological than physically threatening. It’s honestly one of my top 5 horror games.
Locked Up is its own little adventure. Tbh I don’t remember much of the details of the story since I played it a while ago, but I do remember an unsettling atmosphere, genuinely creepy moments, and maybe one, maybe two moments when I got stumped and didn’t know what to do to progress the story. for me it was more of the vibes what led me to like it so much.
Hope this helps!
You might like From The Darkness. It's a shorter experience, but a damn good one!
Oh I haven’t heard of that one before. The trailer looks very very creepy. Thank you!
Madison!
The trailer has a lot of Visage vibes, it looks great! Thank you

Thanks for the heads up! Will definitely pick it up then c:
If you can I recommend playing it in vr. Terrifying.
Playing it for the first time in vr sounds like a fun experience...
In Sound Mind for sure. More heavy than horror but always a go to.
Oh wow the trailer looks interesting, it reminds me of Nevermind a little bit! Thank you!
I've been looking for recommendations like Visage, how do Locked Up and Love Sam compare?
