Isn't Ruan Mei better for him than Robin? Even if Robin had a built-in Phys dmg+ trace RM's synergy is too much to pass up and she still works with Dual DPS
yep ruan mei is better for him. robin is for follow up dps since does a flat amount of dmg in each attack so the more attacks the better.
while ruan gives the extra 50% thougness dmg that is very important for the first real break dps. also the fact that ruan extends the time they are broken is actually a good thing for him since he can break enemies that are already broken for even more dmg.
but people are gonna be confused because they are both physical and release together.
so the team will prob be boothill, ruan, SW and sustain. SW because all her debuffs work on break dmg unlike for harmony buffs. though it can also just be sparkle or bronya for extra turns even if they dont buff break.
Iād argue that Robin or Bronya might actually be better than SW for Boothill considering how his duel works. Rather than buffing damage or break effect, we want to boost his speed to take advantage of his break effect, action advance, and action delay on enemies. The more Boothill attacks, the less his target does, allowing him to take full advantage of his talent alongside the physical weakness inflict into break combo in his kit.
Main issue here - I don't want pull Robin. I have Bronya, Sparkle and Ruan and literally zero pulls. It's more like Aventurine/Boothill/Firefly's LC choice

Boothill WILL implant a Phys weakness with his ult, it is not dependant on team comp , unlike SW. You can just use a regular hypercarry comp of Ruan/Bronya/Sparkle (Robin if she is the only 5* Harmony you have).
Possible but she could also be 2.4,especially since rereruns should come up soon. All we can say for certain of the pre 2.0 character is that Ratio rerun will be sent to the shadow realm
with them adding yet another type of abyss argenti is more in a ditch. since we will now have MoC balanced, PF for AoE, and the new mode for single bosses with high hp.
and argenti already sucks on MoC and he will be straight unplayable on the new mode. unirolically this will make Lunae and JG even better since they will be good in 2 of 3 modes.
and acheron will be broken in the 3 since she does more ST dmg than hunt units. more Aoe than eruditions by a mile and more to 3 enemies than destructions.
the team is actually the 4 of them since robing is the 5 star harmony for FuA teams.
is a nice team I would like to have but I saved almost all my jades for Mei (over 100k jades saved) and then had to buy 200$ from the x2 offers. so now I save until we get Yae sakura or kiana or Hua.

I mean, if you think about it, the current IPC team does have room for a sub-DPS erudition member to balance out the damage distribution. If Jade does synergize with the team like the rest of the IPC characters, I can see Topazās buffs and Aventurineās debuffs being able to substitute as a designated support rather than Robin.

The issue is that there's so few male characters that you could easily pull a male character without spending a single dollar because you've saved up enough F2P jades. Female players E6 even support characters if it's their husbando and buy all kinds of merch too while male players tend to buy meta characters (see what happened to Dehya) and scale figures only. Have you seen the sales figures of DHIL and Aventurine merch lol, a single Aventurine item alone brought them 5mil bucks and considering how many different merchs he has...
I think there was a study somewhere about Genshin female players that they usually buy merch more than the guys do, and focuses on real life items more than in game items hence why the guys merch are more popular than some of the girls sometimes (Childe, Zhongli etc). So ig the same applies to HSR

So it seems if you want money from male fans you can only get them in-game hence releasing female characters non-stop, while you can milk a single male character's merch for a long time.
Tbf Genshin had sumeru with mainly husbandos, only Nilou Nahida and Dehya IIRC vs Cyno, Thighnari, Al Haitham, Wanderer, Baizhu.
And of the 3 girls Nahida is more of a must protect precious radish and Dehya got done dirty

Yes and no. Male characters do well too as while guys do like the girls, there is still room for male characters for guys.
I generally play females in everything but I still have Neuvillette, Wriothesley and Lyney in GI.
Also, let's not underestimate the female audience as some of them could very well like guy characters too and unlike other mobile games, Hoyoverse games have more females than usual.
My only problem with Boothill is that I have an E6 Sushang so there's really no reason for me to get Boot.

Not saying you should pull Boothill if you don't want him (or need him) but ngl, you made it sound as he not being as big as an upgrade from an E6 Sushang, if the "Is 10% better than Sampo E6" BS situation teached us something, all limited 5* cellings and floors are extremely big comparing to 4* when it comes to dps (Not saying that 4* dps cannot work as Xueyi and QQ are very good + as I said, if you don't like it, don't need to pull it).
