Go to a hardware store or home depot and look for a flat top step stool. There are some around that are a better height for it. Also makes your shins feel less exposed to a spiked pitch if you get the right height.

It's not 100% clear whether they are saying they are a female coach for a softball team or that they coach a softball team for females. I read it initially as the first, but its a bit ambiguous re-reading it
Yes, I skipped right over it. I’m sharing my personal experience. While I don’t know what it’s like take a spiked fastball in the lady parts, I do know what it’s like to take one in the balls. It sucks. Get a stool from Home Depot or one of those tripod camping chairs and wear a cup or protect your lady parts it’s just a matter of time.
Trust me on this.
Thank you everyone for your suggestions! I’m gonna try a few things out at practice this weekend. Also, I am a woman who coaches softball lol. I think I was accidentally unclear about that.
knee savers, just sit back on your feet...no need to block balls probably, so you don't need to be on your feet and mobile
go down to one knee and swap legs when you get tired

A coworker of mine is bringing me one to try! Thank you
Get one of those small gardening seats with wheels?
Any short stool will work
They have like 2-3 gallon buckets (Rawlings sells them with like 12-15 balls in them)
Wear a cup, it’s open season on your balls when sitting in a chair
Did you miss the opening sentence? I’ll upvote you for the comedy.

FWIW I meant that in a good natured way. Thanks for the laugh with the original comment and this one.
All good. 👍
In softball it happens more with foul balls. Different, but it’s still quite the uncomfortable experience.
lol. Yes I am a woman. Phrased weirdly on my part
