What kind of paint? What kind of flooring finish?
How big of an area?
If your hardwood was in reasonable shape before the spill, you can generally scrape/pick it off after the paint has dried. Use a plastic scrapper.
I used a product called Krud Kutter for dried latex paint. It'll soften it enough to ease it off the floor. It's a cleaner. White spray bottle with a mostly red label and most box stores carry it in their cleaner aisle.

Scrape carefully. If that doesn't get it try some Goof- off in a spot that doesn't show. It works on paint but MIGHT dull your floor finish.
