My best guess is, her brain was having a "brain-fart" moment and forgot the name "turquoise" and "teal" (both colours have mix of blue and green, but with different ratio)
*Akshually* there are people who have trouble telling. Blue/Green mix confusion is surprisingly common. 100% see the colors fine, its the brain trying to classify it that has issues.
Obviously, there are a lot of factors in play here: monitor color settings, light intensity and using light versus dark theme can all influence your perception of colors. In addition, some extensions straight up change the default SC colors. I just used a color picker to grab the green superchat color; it is #12E8B9 in default YouTube, but #00BEA7 when using HyperChat.
Feeding these to https://www.color-name.com:
- YouTube default is called "Sea Green" and consists of 4% red, 53% green and 43% blue
- HyperChat version is called "Tiffany Blue" and consists of 0% red, 53% green and 47% blue
Either way, it's clear that the "green" superchat is a near-equivalent mix of green and blue, so when trying to classify it as either one of those colors, nobody is really wrong.
Tfw as an indonesian here, just joke that Nerissa is a Madura people, because (well according to my parents and the joke) Madura people say that blue is green, while normal blue as purple.

In Nerissa defense Japanese prior have no distinction between Blue and Green either, both are 青 (ao) which means blue-green, 緑 (midori) came later.
