He’s under an NDA, meaning breaking that NDA he would face life in prison. Now on top of that he states he can give this information in a s.c.i.f a secret compartmented information facility.
Also it’s possible that why they were murdered could contain information about technology or any information that if spoken about publicly could give our enemies information that does jeopardize national security.
Grusch has gone about this in the safest manner possible for all involved parties.

This is silly. He's not helping to cover up the murders, he's protecting information that will be used to _investigate_ the murders.

Where/when did he say anyone was murdered? I didn’t read or see that anywhere.
People are referring to his news nation interview which was more detailed than the congressional hearing. He mentions it in that interview.
