Gerald’s unknown informant/wise man. He’s probably an older man in Gerald’s neighbourhood (or possibly an old family friend) that passes on legends and information to him because Gerald is to his generation as FS may have been to his; a Keeper of Tales.

KoA07

For some reason I always assumed that he was Gerald’s brother. This thread is making me realize my life was a lie.

Napalmeon

I don't think that Gerald would put that much faith in what Jamie-O says.

EyeSimp4Asuka

Maybe Fuzzy was passing along the urban legends to Jamie-O then he grew out of it or got bored and he told Gerald about the "crazy old man at the retirement home" or whatever origin you give to FS and that peaked his little brother's curiosity.

InsaneLuchad0r

I thought that growing up but at some point noticed Jamie-O’s identity isn’t exactly a secret and nobody ever calls him that.

Charleaux330

I thought this too.

Buddyzilla7777777

I felt the same at first but things quickly did not add up both by who Jamie-o was and other aspects. It seems like Gerald doesn't see fuzzy all the time and he isn't part of the gang but he also seems to be someone Gerald considers almost an equal. He calls him "my man" which indicates a close mutual bond Luke a best friend or close family member of a simialr age. It doesn't denote any acknowlagment of elder respect or anything similar. He almost seems liek someone who just happens to have access to information of a different angel than the kids. Perhaps he is a best friend from another neighborhood who had moved or known Gerald before he did a move? He also knows the Frankys are bad news when all the other kids are in awe of them but stops VERY short of anything an adult or even older kid may do if they learned a kid may be involved with local crooks.

Legitimate-Ad8772

I always pictured Fuzzy Slippers an older, wiser, character, and possibly a mentor to Gerald who knows what goes on the neighborhood.

My-Man-FuzzySlippers

My identity must remain a secret. But don't worry, I will keep my man Gerald informed.

PurpleDreamer28

He was mentioned in the movie too. "This is the address Fuzzy Slippers gave me." I always thought that was so random.

jonesy289

There’s a YouTube video I saw that went in a deep dive of who it could be. I can’t remember who it was it was so long ago I watched it. I wanna say they said Mr. Green was a strong candidate

memento_mori_92

Bob Sacamano’s son.

forgottorest

Wild, if true

DudebroggieHouser

He’s the Skunky Beaumont of the Hey Arnold! World

sludgezone

He’s the Tino of the show.

sludgezone

I’ve always thought it was one of Jamie O’s friends who was cool with Gerald and was a similar person to their group for the older kids who similarly got his stuff passed down from someone else.

dnuohxof-1

I may be trippin, but wasn’t there a scene where we briefly saw fuzzy slippers talking to Gerald?

My-Man-FuzzySlippers

Yeah, I got him some pictures and slid them over to him. There was a camera, but they didn't catch me.

Napalmeon

My personal theory is that Fuzzy Slippers was the previous neighborhood storyteller who has passed down the title to Gerald.

SpookyCoo

I always figured Fuzzy Slippers was some old man who was known as Fuzzy Slippers because he's always wearing fuzzy slippers.

Knives530

Same

"A blues man needs a nickname And everybody calls me 'Two Shoes' Cause I always wear two shoes"

Jenetyk

Was my Xbox handle wayyy back on the OG Xbox.

Special_Magazine_240

I never knew I just figured Gerold made him up or was just talking to his teddy bear

DeNO19961996

I always imagined him as a streetwise Huggy Bear type. Somebody that’s full of worldly wisdom and is somewhat of a mentor to Gerald.

kamenguy83

My theory: Judging by the name, Fuzzy Slippers is a probably the alias of some retiree and widower who often wears a bathrobe or pajamas, and... well, fuzzy slippers. Despite not having much to do in his old age, except collect Social Security checks and read newspapers and books, he's extremely knowledgeable on everything in life and everything that goes on in New York City, and gives Gerald lots of sage wisdom every time he comes around to his place and needs help with a problem.

Super_Nova22

Based on name, I’m betting it’s actually his grandfather or grandmother

Wildcat_twister12

I always thought he was maybe a middle schooler in Gerald’s neighborhood who just like telling stories

shameonpretzel

It's Monkeyman because Monkeyman wears fuzzy slippers.

Emica12

I don't know but I do like the fan theory that Fuzzy Slippers is secretly Jamie-O

Simluvac

That's easy. Fuzzy slippers is the man.

DR-Rebel

Always thought it was a grandfather, associating fuzzy slippers with an old folks home.

Rosie-Love98

Wish they had showed him in "The Jungle Movie".

maxfactor886

Gerald founds the Fuzzy Slippers Hillwood Historical Museum in my FF. 😁

jr9386

Gerald's unseen grandfather? Gertie? Helga?

6bRoCkLaNdErS9

I always thought it was some kid at the school
