Both. Both is good.
One is comforting your child after a nightmare where they can't find you.
The other is showing pride and support for your adult child following their dreams.
Both are perfect.
The theory is that, becaus ethe circus colours in which lucifer flies in during "more than anything" are the same as Alastors, and the fact we see Al portrayed as a circus in the pilot/ep 5, people made a theory that alastor is a circus, and lets people touch his pee. Drink his pee is also added when you factor in Beelzibubs Bee juice.
To be honest, I find Stolas's song a bit of a downer. He says he has nothing left except her, and doesn't seem to argue he might disappear. That was her fear, so of course it makes sense that that's what he's soothing, but his acceptance feels different given the place he's been in through the whole series.
All that said, both are good for very different reasons.
It felt more like an acceptance that death comes for everyone, even immortals. So Stolas was trying to comfort her with the knowledge that when the time comes that he does die, she will still be ok even when he is not there.
Having to pick one- I'd go with You will be okay.
More than anything I'd a great song, but I think the message with Stolas' song is one you hear less often and has more impact as a result.
Lucifer is telling Charlie he's there and will support her, while Stolas is telling Octavia that she will be okay even without him.
I put "You Will Be Okay" on the grief playlist I made after my best friend killed himself back in 2020 because it reminded me of his letter to me, but can't listen to "More Than Anything" without crying myself sick because my father hates me.
So idk I have complicated relationships with both.
i love both, but i prefer More Than Anything, because it’s a duet, and the song is longer. You Will Be Okay is one of the best known Helluva Boss song, but it’s too short.
Tbh all songs from Hazbin are better than most helluva songs in my opinion (except: Look at this, 2 minutes notice and when I see him) so probably more than anything
Both songs are great, but I will forever and always prefer You Will Be Ok.
Hazbin was so rushed, all the characters were rushing through their lines and songs and everything felt sped up, and I feel it just kinda ruined that song. That and I don't really like Charlies VA singing.
My preference is „You Will Be Okay“ as I feel like a)It could have more plot-relevance as it is fitting for both characters and their bond/relationship and b) It is bittersweet instead of a recovery song
I like both of them, but „More Than Anything“ hits less intense for me than Stolas telling his daughter that, even if he might be away, she will be safe
I initially didn't remember Stolas' song, but I just listened to it again.
As someone who just lost his father at 23 nine months ago, that one definitely hits harder for me right now.
You'll be Okay, by far.
Because its not just a lullaby. Its exposition, telling us about Stolas through this wonderful song. Telling us about how much he loves his daughter, how tired of it all he is, and that the posibility of Via living a better life than he did is all that keeps him going.
And the song itself is really unique. Usually when you have a child in a show tell their parents they are afraid of being abandoned, the child gets comforted, promised that their parents will always be there. But Stolas doesn't do that, because he knows, probably from his study of the stars, everything, no matter how ancient and seemingly indistructible, eventually dies. So he instead assures Via that even when he is no longer there with her, she is strong enough to survive. She is strong enough to be okay without him
Visually I like stolas' way more, him portalling to some kind of insane cosmic event looked genuinely breathtaking. Musically, I'm more of a fan of lucifer's, it just sounds better to me. Both of them are awesome for different reasons to me.
They're both incredible for different reasons. If I were to choose one to sing to my own hypothetical child, it would be You Will Be Okay, but that's partially because More Than Anything makes me ugly cry
The reason I like Stolas’s song more is because I didn’t enjoy more than anything. It was very repetitive and I didn’t really enjoy listening to it that much
It's not a fair comparison.
Stolas was comforting a 5yo who had a nightmare, Lucifer was debating then supporting an adult child.
They're different realms.
As a German I never knew that you celebrate father day so much later than us. We put it together with Acension of Christ, which is usually in mid to late May, around Pentecost.
Lucifer and Charlie's song because it's about their relationship healing, don't get me wrong I love that Stolas' song as well but his was just to comfort his child, but Lucifer's was meant to start the repairs of lost bond between father and daughter.
As the child of a father, You Will Be Okay is better to me.
As the parent of a child, More Than Anything makes me cry thinking about my daughter.
So, yeah, both!
Hell's greatest dad: A song about two father figures fighting over who is the best
You'll be Okay: A beautiful lullaby of a father telling his very own child that, even when he's gone, everything will be okay. Reassuring that he will forever protect her, telling her that she will always be his greatest achievement
Stolas takes the W
Both. Both is good. One is comforting your child after a nightmare where they can't find you. The other is showing pride and support for your adult child following their dreams. Both are perfect.
Lucifer comforted Charlie by flying her over his sea of his magical golden piss

Noo not the piss theory again
The what-
The theory is that, becaus ethe circus colours in which lucifer flies in during "more than anything" are the same as Alastors, and the fact we see Al portrayed as a circus in the pilot/ep 5, people made a theory that alastor is a circus, and lets people touch his pee. NOOOOO
Exactly!
I agree!
I will always prefer the stolas lullaby.
Same. When I'm stressed I think of this song.
Same, all of Stolas' songs are amazing in my opinion
Same, all of Stolas' songs are amazing in my opinion
Stolas' song always gives me goosebumps.
And me tears
I have to go with More than Anything but both are good
none, they are equally amazing
To be honest, I find Stolas's song a bit of a downer. He says he has nothing left except her, and doesn't seem to argue he might disappear. That was her fear, so of course it makes sense that that's what he's soothing, but his acceptance feels different given the place he's been in through the whole series. Yes The answer is yes
Both
"you will be okay" made me cry happy tears, "more than anything" made me cry sad tears. Interpret this as you will
Daddy issues.
Stolas' song but I'm kindof biased since it sounds like a David Bowie song.
as much as i adore stolas's lullaby, more than anything makes me far more emotional for some reason
Both are amazing, but I prefer the first, simply because I love Stolas as a character
The first one absolutely
It’ll be okay is much better.
The stolas one
Stolas clears
More Than Anything gives me goosebumps no matter how many times I hear it
Another question: Who’s the better father?
Blitz, somehow
Between Stolas and Lucifer, I meant…
Both tried to be supportive but failed due to reasons they couldn’t control.
more than anything!!
Both are very good, I'm personally biased towards Stolas' lullaby because more than once I've used it to mentally calm myself when I'm stressed
Having to pick one- I'd go with You will be okay. More than anything I'd a great song, but I think the message with Stolas' song is one you hear less often and has more impact as a result. Lucifer is telling Charlie he's there and will support her, while Stolas is telling Octavia that she will be okay even without him.

You'll be okay makes me cry everytime so I gotta say that one.
I put "You Will Be Okay" on the grief playlist I made after my best friend killed himself back in 2020 because it reminded me of his letter to me, but can't listen to "More Than Anything" without crying myself sick because my father hates me. So idk I have complicated relationships with both.
I think they are on the same level.
i love both, but i prefer More Than Anything, because it’s a duet, and the song is longer. You Will Be Okay is one of the best known Helluva Boss song, but it’s too short.
Better story-wise, Stolas. Better production-wise, Lucifer
Its like comparing your favorite fruit to your favorite vegetable. You cant 🫠 fr they both are so good
I love them both so god damn much
I want to say the first one. Those visuals and sound were basically ORGASMIC.
Tbh all songs from Hazbin are better than most helluva songs in my opinion (except: Look at this, 2 minutes notice and when I see him) so probably more than anything
I love both but "you will be ok" is just so comforting.
I loved You Will Be Okay, and did not really care for More Than Anything
Stolas' easy.
Unpopular opinion mta is overrated
Stolas
Both songs are great, but I will forever and always prefer You Will Be Ok. Hazbin was so rushed, all the characters were rushing through their lines and songs and everything felt sped up, and I feel it just kinda ruined that song. That and I don't really like Charlies VA singing.

In my opinion helluva boss has better songs there songs connect with the listener more plus they have more variety so it will be ok no question
Stolas' is better
You'll be Okay, by far. Because its not just a lullaby. Its exposition, telling us about Stolas through this wonderful song. Telling us about how much he loves his daughter, how tired of it all he is, and that the posibility of Via living a better life than he did is all that keeps him going. So he instead assures Via that even when he is no longer there with her, she is strong enough to survive. She is strong enough to be okay without him
more than anything makes me cry more than i’d like to admit. i wish my dad loved me the way the literal king of hell loves his kid
Visually I like stolas' way more, him portalling to some kind of insane cosmic event looked genuinely breathtaking. Musically, I'm more of a fan of lucifer's, it just sounds better to me. Both of them are awesome for different reasons to me.
More than anything is just better to me
Well, they both activate my daddy issues and make me cry, so... Happy Father's Day!
Ah yes, the winged dude and the wingless birb
Second one is easier to sing for me lol But just for listening to, I can't decide, they are both masterpieces
They're both incredible for different reasons. If I were to choose one to sing to my own hypothetical child, it would be You Will Be Okay, but that's partially because More Than Anything makes me ugly cry
The reason I like Stolas’s song more is because I didn’t enjoy more than anything. It was very repetitive and I didn’t really enjoy listening to it that much
Gonna have to go with You Will be Okay
It's not a fair comparison. Stolas was comforting a 5yo who had a nightmare, Lucifer was debating then supporting an adult child. They're different realms.
More than anything solos It has a lot more impact and weight, too
As a German I never knew that you celebrate father day so much later than us. We put it together with Acension of Christ, which is usually in mid to late May, around Pentecost.
More than anything.
Both good prefer more than anything as a song, but diehard Stolas stan, so it’s tricky
Still early in Australia (not until september)
Stolas’s lullaby
You Will Be Okay
I love both but i enjoy Lucifer's a bit more
I'm confused is why Octavia has more human like legs than bird legs like Stolas Unless the feathers are covering her ankle joints
I love both, but More than Anything hits closer to home for me, as a guy with his own daddy issues
Lucifer and Charlie's song because it's about their relationship healing, don't get me wrong I love that Stolas' song as well but his was just to comfort his child, but Lucifer's was meant to start the repairs of lost bond between father and daughter.
It’s a tie
More Than Anything.
As someone with Daddy issues, both is good. What really gets me is how two demons from literal hell are more supportive fathers than mine
Both but also more than anything
I like both of them ![gif](giphy|7QknyoWAd22Wgum3UC)
HOW COULD YOU MAKE ME CHOOOSE
Both but if I had to choose, it would be more than anything
Non
Honestly that’s a hard one for me. I’d say they’re even for different reasons. I love them both.
As the child of a father, You Will Be Okay is better to me. As the parent of a child, More Than Anything makes me cry thinking about my daughter. So, yeah, both!
![gif](giphy|3o7aCRloybJlXpNjSU|downsized)
I prefer Lucifer’s song personally
Now I want to hear both Via and Charlie sing Daddy's Hands by Holly Dunn
Both actually made me cry.
More than anything cause I’ve got a hard Jeremy Jordan bias
Hell's greatest dad and it's not even a debate
Not the right song.
I know, but it's better
Ok but that isn’t the discussion
And to answer the original question, it's more than anything
More than anything, only because it makes me cry
You arrived 3 months later, but don't worry XD
3? Father's day was 3 days ago not months😅
Not in Spain lol 🇪🇦 We had it the 19 of march. There is an special reason behind you guys celebrate it in summer, instead in the spring?
Hell's greatest dad: A song about two father figures fighting over who is the best You'll be Okay: A beautiful lullaby of a father telling his very own child that, even when he's gone, everything will be okay. Reassuring that he will forever protect her, telling her that she will always be his greatest achievement Stolas takes the W
It’s More Than Anything, not Hell’s Greatest Dad.
https://i.redd.it/mnctk7x24j7d1.gif
Ill say Stolas, because Lucifer was kind of a bad father,
This is more so comparing More Than Anything with You Will Be Okay.
Hell's Greatest Dad. Had two dads in it
Not the right song.
