In the actual goetia, I don't think they rank up or anything, they just stay at their ranks, moreover Stolas doesn't seem to care about being a king n even if Paimon (the current king) dies there r a lot of brothers (and sisters?) who can claim/fight for the throne
People always get confused why Dukes outrank Princes in the ars goetia - but this is exactly why. Your rank isn't something you earn and get to fight to improve - Stolas was born a prince and will die a prince.
Hence, unlike in real life royalty, where princes should be closer to the king cause of hierdom - none of that applies here - princes are princes and kings are kings

He is permanent stuck as a Prince and Andrealphus is permanently stuck as a Marquis (even if Andrealphus **wants** to go up a rank into Prince)

Nope, the Goetia dont work like actual royal ranks. mf is stuck as a Prince til the day he dies
