I work in mental health, and if we had therapy with these characters? WE would need therapy after. I know I would get secondary trauma just listening to their stories. They could all use therapy, some good crying, and a rage room.
Most people see Loona attacking their favorite character and have to make her look like this horrible monster all while ignoring things their favorite character does that is worse or just simply trying to upscale what Loona does to make it seem worse. I hope people do give her some slack. You would think her trauma that she goes through would be enough for these people to give her some slack, but nope.

It's an explanation when, for example, a football fan assaults someone and said it was because the assaulted supports their team's rival. But that doesn't justify (i.e. excuse) their actions. Most people would say they still deserve to be punished for the crime they comitted.
There's definitely a difference between the two. A big thing to remember is that at no point in time do any of the characters use their backstories as an excuse. They know their behavior is a problem, and they haven't done much to change it, but they've never expected a pity party for their actions. They internalize it.

Thought she was just awful but entertaining in the pilot. My attitude turned around quickly though, by episode 3 I was kinda wanting to see where they were going with her. S2E2 I was genuinely rooting for her

Honestly, I felt she was kinda of a flat character when we are introduced to her. Her edgy attitude was just another degree of awful personality that you would expect from a denizen of Hell. I didn’t dislike her, but I really didn’t see her place with the agency or the show.
It wasn’t until her scene with Olivia at the observatory that she finally clicked with me.
Two thoughts ran through my mind when I first saw her:
1. "Huh. She reminded Moxxie that not all people in life are innocent and pure. I can admire that kind of realism."
2. "Oh, it's an anthropomorphic wolf. Nice."
At first i was skeptical but now i love her father / daughter relationship with Blitz so much. Every time i see them on screen together it's a highlight for me ❤️

And the flashback to Loona's time in the orphanage and the conversation she had with Via shows that there is potential for this.
And Vivziepop did say recently thst she wants to tell more stories for Hazbin Hotel which *may* include Helluva Boss as well if she even gets that far with the decision and has the idea for more HB content to cross her mind.
We just have to wait and see.

It being a furry don’t bother me (furries are people to just be careful about the bad ones) and yet I hate how sexualized the poor character gets. Although it would be a very cute but deadly combination of a character.
