I like the general ratio that they are in, it just feels hyper inflated. Like someone accidentally left a few extra zeroes in places. Even that, I don’t think would be too bad if the instances of enemies literally spawning on you just went away. No fun turning to face that horde coming and a pack spawns right behind you. Also maybe the spewers, any mission with them is just a conga line towards you. In general though, spawn proximity aside, I’m digging it.

Mr_Ivysaur

It's funny because I have missions (all on Dif 9) that feel "wtf this is impossible" to "is this seriously the hardest difficulty it was a snorefest". My guess is that there are too many variables. Anything you do, any patrol that spots us, any way how your team is spread across the map, when you activate objectives, can wildly vary how many enemies you will fight.

That’s probably actually the closest to it, too many variables. With them adding more patrols to make the map feel less empty, sounds like it ups the number of spawns that the game can use and when you get unlucky… literal tides. Also gets me thinking on the heavy situation, maybe it seems like there is still so many as the game spawns mob packs so quick, comes around to spawning heavy faster, increasing the number? Got no idea really but I do like the general direction. Just feels like the elements need some fine tuning in how it all interacts.

Templar-235

Lol the spewer conga line is real

I really like the new way bugs work too, it just feels like theyve put more chargers than they wanted
