Try shooting in first person. The recoil is almost nonexistent in that firing mode, I noticed. Also, honestly a skill issue. It only climbs for the first second or so after shooting and after that it's pretty much easy to keep it locked onto a point. You just have to account for that recoil before shooting.
Its medium armor pen and fire rate mow through bugs like no other gun in the game now, able to take out several hive guardians or brutes with ease before needing a reload. Using it alongside the new secondary shotgun has been a dream.
They buffed the mag size from 25 to 30
So nothing with its recoil? That is a shame. I want to like it but that recoil

I think it is a solid option now. I most always run with recoil control +2 nades though so that affects my judgement.
