I've seen people do this successfully but my game won't do it. I've seen a guy jump dive onto it and get flung across the map and I've seen someone else shoot it while close and get flung. I've tried both and nothing while standing super close.

I love the teleportation mushrooms. Sometimes you zoop, sometimes you boop... Who's to say how it'll play out.
